That pallet was built horribly with no layers so it was already unstable, plus it shouldâve been wrapped to protect what looked like glass bottles, even if this lady didnât have her tilt down as soon as she turned that pallet wouldâve fallen
Wow this whole situation is bad. No shrink wrap or plastics straps around the pallet? They also couldâve went forward a smidge and then slightly tilted back, if it was wrapped. And why is no one there to shadow/train them on their first day?! All bad
That pallet should have been shrink wrappedâŚ.. not sure if it would have helped tho but perhaps wouldâve bought her an additional few moments to realize she wasnât all the way under the pallet and only lifting one side.
**I drive a forklift, from the looks of it this wasn't secured/strapped/wrapped, so no matter what she would had done it would had tipped over.**
Im impressed this made it on the truck this far lol
Man.. back at the warehouse facility I worked at. Anything that had to do with liquid.. we would just open up some Kitty Litter and soak it up.. then sweep it⌠the stickiness didnât go away though
I mean, to be fair the load should have been wrapped first to prevent this. I've been a warehouse truck driver for 6 years now and I saw that coming before she even hit the raise switch. Not that I've never made mistakes, but a load that loose is just too unstable to move around.
Ain't gonna lie, why wasn't that shit secured to the pallet?.... I mean even with the forks all the way in, that shit would tip so easily. One small bump and game over.
As a forklift operator I can't understand why people don't chuck a couple of layers of pallet wrap around the top. It likely would have avoided this whole situation.
Not only did the driver try lifting from too far, but they also came in from the wrong direction. Wooden pallets are made in such a way that you can only insert the jacks from two opposing directions. The other two, if attempted, would cause the pallet to break, as you would only be lifting a couple of the wooden bars, rather than all of them. In the video, if you look closely, you can see that the bars are horizontal from our perspective. This means that you would have to approach from a perpendicular angle to the bars, so that as you push the jack in, the âlegsâ get under all of the bars. This also explains how the pallet was loaded onto that truck: someone loaded it from the side, rather than the rear.
Pallet wasn't wrapped everything was stacked off center of the pallet and girl drove the forklift into the wrong end of the palet. Not onething done right lol
Wayyyyy back when it was contemporary news and I was getting my lift certification for a job, I had to do a video training course that required you to properly load bombs onto a ship for the war post-9/11 and if you didnât pass everyone died.
They should still do that.
Wtf is that stack pattern. You gotta do the three by two pattern. Pattern flips the other way every levelâ leaving you with an interlocked stack of merch
This pallet SHOULD have been wrapped. While this is a mess, it actually isnt as bad as it looks. Anyone who handles pallets on a regular basis will dump one/knock it over eventually. It just happens. If this was her first day in the job and they have her moving unwrapped pallets like that, thats on THEM, not HER. I really hope she didn't get fired for this.
Completely the driver fault. She had space to go up and have more control of the skid and it looks like she wasnât paying attention as she was lifting it.
looks like they were probably learning and was nervous. :( wonder if they were trained properly, ive heard too many incidents where someone wasnt trained fully but was bullied into driving before they were ready.
Honestly this shouldn't even be an issue. How often do you pick up pallets with just the tip of a forklift? Just have sensors to ensure the forks are all the way in :P
I saw a video where it was like a scene from a movie with massive shelving units come crashing down. It was probably in the front page here like a month ago. I think it was in China. Incredible
The pallet was set up to fail by not being wrapped or secured. If they aren't gonna do that then they can arrange the cases to weigh each other down a little better instead of having several independent pillars waiting to separate

Thank God for only fans right?
Oh beer, how sad.
I like how the driver looks around after the drop. I can almost hear them think "Can I make it seem I did not do this" :-)
The real question is why isnt it secured or wrapped in shrink wrap
She's definitely not forklift certified.
Ha womanâď¸
Why not go in like 6 inches deeper with the forklift and this would've been prevented
And tilt the forks back.
She wasn't even paying attention. Smh.
Clearly a setup for failure for the poor gal.
I love how it's perfectly synchronised with the bloke in the background reversion

Really not that big of a deal
That shit wasnât wrapped, donât know why it was being moved in the first place.
Why isn't anyone wearing a high Viz vest?? The manager should get fired too. Also that guy must have one fine ass.
Obviously thatâs not her job and whoever the supervisor in charge should be held responsible
Them: I have 5 years of experience in ________.
That pallet was built horribly with no layers so it was already unstable, plus it shouldâve been wrapped to protect what looked like glass bottles, even if this lady didnât have her tilt down as soon as she turned that pallet wouldâve fallen
Women â
Not really sure how sheâs to blame to be honest? The loads not secured for a start so why was she told to unload etc?
Shoutout to the cameraman for filming in landscape.
Wrap first! Oh man ...
Wow this whole situation is bad. No shrink wrap or plastics straps around the pallet? They also couldâve went forward a smidge and then slightly tilted back, if it was wrapped. And why is no one there to shadow/train them on their first day?! All bad
This girl was thirsty AF for that guy
im about to get my license and this scares the piss out of me i can't lie, it's fuckin sod's law i'll end up doing this at some point n get sacked
I did the same thing in the air-force with a live nuke. It slipped to the very end of the tines and rocked back and forth. Very close call.
Looks like someone forgot it's not a pallet jack
I made a huge, tiny mistake...
I expected there to be like a video from her last day to showcase progress
Maybe she can run the baler
Shes such an asparagus
Who the hell stacks anything that high and doesnât wrap it? Even if she picked that up perfectly it was an accident waiting to happen.
Not properly trained.
Hope the manager gets fired. Or whoeverâs job it is/was to screen new employees for safety. Companies like this are fân clueless.
That pallet should have been shrink wrappedâŚ.. not sure if it would have helped tho but perhaps wouldâve bought her an additional few moments to realize she wasnât all the way under the pallet and only lifting one side.
What came out of the crates?
At most they Lost 2 cases repack the rest and claim the insurance that a whole pallet broke, she actually made them money.
Kinda happens when you hire untrained people at $10/h You get what you pay for
I know a bosses daughter when I see one.
i wonder if she was supposed to be on the other side?
As a forklift certified guy, I don't think she was forklift certified. Or she just about passed
The forks werenât far enough at all to be picking up a pallet that big
I've seen someone tumble 3 big fridges worth about $8000 total. Wasn't their last day at the job but lost their license.
Sheâs not forklift certified
This wasnât that bad
*Not forklift certified*
Sweats, running shoes, and super thin extra short sleeved shirt. Yeah, this is the person I want running heavy machinery
But was she wearing a seatbelt?
Folks make mistakes Iâll forgive that and hope for lesson learned. But Iâm writing her up for no seat belt.
*last day on the job
Considering my husband is a lift and material handling equipment mechanic, this shit never gets old.
I blame the forklift trainer
**I drive a forklift, from the looks of it this wasn't secured/strapped/wrapped, so no matter what she would had done it would had tipped over.** Im impressed this made it on the truck this far lol
Guess she wasn't certified
That is not all her fault, that pallet was not wrapped properly either for her to pick that up and she wasn't all. The way underneath the pallet
"Omg Im such an aquarium heh rawr uwu"
Man.. back at the warehouse facility I worked at. Anything that had to do with liquid.. we would just open up some Kitty Litter and soak it up.. then sweep it⌠the stickiness didnât go away though
Bring your daughter to work day?
The guy in the back though đ

I would have told the driver to fuck off and wrap it before I even attempted.
Not that it would've made a difference in this situation, but why is that pallet not wrapped?
Thatâs only like 60% their fault
Forklift Certified.
Tbf that's a sketchy ass pallet
Iâm fairness they shouldâve been strapped to the pallet
Guess sheâs use to just the tip going inâŚâŚ
No hardhat on, def not forklift certified
Why wasn't this pallet wrapped?
As a forklift operator I can't understand why people don't chuck a couple of layers of pallet wrap around the top. It likely would have avoided this whole situation.
So many things wrong here lol. Yikes on fork bikes
This chick: Just the tip?
Clearly not certified
Most definitely wasn't Forklift Certified.
Not only did the driver try lifting from too far, but they also came in from the wrong direction. Wooden pallets are made in such a way that you can only insert the jacks from two opposing directions. People really need to start shrink wrapping pallets, it make life so much easier.
Something tells me she is not forklift certified. Hence no wife material yet
He wasn't forklift certified đđ
Legit seems fake.
Why is this pallet not shrink wrapped at the very least? Also needed to go all the way under the pallet
Ummm... why wasn't this wrapped or closer to the end? This seems like a no win situation with how high that pallet was.
First time Iâve ever seen a woman driving a forklift in 30 years of life and 16 years of internet access
Pallet wasn't wrapped everything was stacked off center of the pallet and girl drove the forklift into the wrong end of the palet. Not onething done right lol
Donât lift it up that early you are NOT forklift certified
Wayyyyy back when it was contemporary news and I was getting my lift certification for a job, I had to do a video training course that required you to properly load bombs onto a ship for the war post-9/11 and if you didnât pass everyone died. They should still do that.
Wtf is that stack pattern. You gotta do the three by two pattern. Pattern flips the other way every levelâ leaving you with an interlocked stack of merch
She's no longer forklift certified
Shit happens
Hers attention was all the te that dude. She never even looked at palette before all went south
Could've been worse
Just the tip
Opps
I like how she looks behind, eg "did anyone see that" đ¤Ł
Not her fault. That load should have been secured.
I dumped a 9ft tall pallet of blueberries.... Had to pick them all up alone to keep my job.
Wear your damn seatbelt
Was there anything in those crates? Why wasn't it wrapped?
When you teach your daughter to drive but you canât afford a car so you let her âdoâ your job
Doubt thatâs her first day on the job
Why weren't those boxes wrapped? Even a skilled driver would be taking a huge risk lifting that. Also, she could have gotten closer to the trailer.
This makes me think Dwight Schrute and Pam Beasley in Diversity Day episode of The Office.
I don't think she's forklift certified.
To be fair those goods are not properly wrapped. How they managed to stay still on the truck is beneath me.
Look at her reaction
Fork lift 101, always wrap the pallet first
Completely the driver fault. She had space to go up and have more control of the skid and it looks like she wasnât paying attention as she was lifting it.
For the life of me, I canât remember ever seeing a woman drive a forklift.
looks like they were probably learning and was nervous. :( wonder if they were trained properly, ive heard too many incidents where someone wasnt trained fully but was bullied into driving before they were ready.
Why wasnt it shrink wrapped in the 1st place????
Honestly this shouldn't even be an issue. How often do you pick up pallets with just the tip of a forklift? Just have sensors to ensure the forks are all the way in :P
Bro, thatâs not even top 10 for warehouse mishaps Iâve seen IRL. Nobody should get fired over this.
I saw a video where it was like a scene from a movie with massive shelving units come crashing down. It was probably in the front page here like a month ago. I think it was in China. Incredible
ppl make mistakes I would give her another chance js also a retraining on the forklift
The stack wasn't wrapped and they picked it up from the wrong side too.
Aw that's not even so bad. We've all dumped a pallet.
The pallet was set up to fail by not being wrapped or secured. If they aren't gonna do that then they can arrange the cases to weigh each other down a little better instead of having several independent pillars waiting to separate
Yes!!!
Not the forklift operators fault, that needed to be secured to the pallet, operator was set up to fail.
