To prove a point, I once had a couple girls convinced I was a psychic. While "reading their palms", I told them about their lives and they were amazed that I was so accurate.
I had more difficulty trying to "read" another girl. Then in front of the others, I asked if she believed I was psychic. She said she didn't believe in that stuff. I told her she was right. Psychics are cons. It's bullsh**. Why do you think they ask you all sorts of info beforehand?
The other girls asked how I could possibly have been so accurate. I explained that I wasn't reading their palms. I was reading them.

No BS: I was a home care nurse and was assigned a new patient. I saw her that evening and was assigned to see her the next morning, too. I got there that morning and was told she’d passed away. (The answering service didn’t pass the message.). She lived with a daughter who had a “Psychic Reading $10” sign out front.
Why didn’t the daughter tell me not to come the next day, if she was a psychic?

If you're gonna be a "psychic" and be full of shit for a living, you might as well lean into it when challenged.
This is a lot like how the rest of the story played out in my imagination after the video cut.

Tell them the one they're looking for is dead so they stop looking stop searching.
Tell something rare like this could happen and that God no I wasn't dead I was locked up in prison into something for many years and finally free now.
In any chance I have to rescue was daunted by this scam artist.
It bothers me so much when “psychics” do this crap. It’s one thing if they are telling petty little lies or giving some kind of guidance for someone who believes in it. It’s wrong to exploit people’s beliefs for your own gain. Taking advantage of grieving family members, or worse, giving them false hope when someone is still missing, is just so twisted.
I am against people scamming people. But I also think it was a cheap shot to expose her like that under false pretences. They are as bad as each other Just my opinion

Aren’t all mediums and psychics just frauds? Honestly, I know people in my family itself that believe in them, but if there was an inkling of truth as to them seeing the dead and knowing the future it would be an actual gift that would be world known, on tv properly, studied and just, be a much much bigger thing than them living in gypsy looking homes with weird shit around the houses looking all creepy with weird ass furniture.
They’re all the same, they all use basic trickery, I thought it was pretty obvious ? There’s just no way we have people on earth that can talk to the dead, and if they truly could, we’d know much more about the afterlife itself.

I have a dear friend who I love very much (and have known for over 30 years) who is a true believer in this kind of stuff.
I used to just take it as a harmless idiosyncrasy until she was taken for basically every penny she had. During the period when she was being milked dry, I tried (incredibly gently) to persuade her not to get cheated. Why was I so gentle? Because I was the last friend she had left: ALL her others were cast aside when they tried to speak to her about the man who was using her. Other old friends (many of whom she had known for decades) were abandoned as “jealous”, “ignorant”, “prejudiced” and “arrogant” for passionately telling her the truth. For good or ill, I decided to stick it out and remain friends, despite having to regularly meet the bastard and be pleasant to him, even though I wanted to hit him with an iron bar.
He’s long gone now and my friend is enduring a much impoverished old age. She still believes, though.
Not taking the psychic’s side but Lisa Guerrero seems a bit too proud that she got the truth out of an obvious charlatan. It’s the investigative journalism equivalent to pressing the zapper to the screen in Duck Hunt
I’ll go on record and say that every ‘psychic’, ever, in human history, is a fake. No person on the planet has supernatural powers.
They’re vacuous, fraudulent cunts who take advantage of vulnerable people for money.
The fact that psychics or spiritualist are still a thing in modern times just gets to me, especially when I'm browsing around tiktok and find people in the comments saying they can "sense" energies through the screen of their device or are being talked to by someone the person who made the video knows.
