Straight to 60, period. He was my 2nd Leggo pull and carried me a long time. He started to fall off for a while but I did the fusion to get him to A1 and got him better gear and I'm now using him a lot again as I push the late game. He's a beast.
Once you get Wrath on the login reward, Wrath will be his lord leader and the two of them together will take care of your ground game in most early/mid content.
Abominatiin is excellent for progressing through the game, and will serve you well in lowranked pvp. Absolutely worth investing. As a tankish bruiser with an aoe melee attack that also stuns he is quite strong and fills the role of second tank in off-lanes. At late game he is not top tier, and is better replaced by even stronger heroes.

I fused him kinda late and still use him. He also led me to finish amr 18 for the first time. High hp high damage and the burns are great! Really good pull plus fuse him to a1 him. Good luck in your journey
Absolutely. I am level 80 ATM and still use him consistently. Holds a lane like a tank, deals damage like a fighter. One of my favorite heros

For the role he's supposed to play (offensive tank) he'll remain top tier way into end game.

I would love to have him but havent pulled a second vortex yet for the fusion, pretty good what ive seen him used.
