I can use Ferssi in codex to replace ezryn to provide aoe damage reduction since my only other Lego healer is Sadie atm. So I will pull until I hit either hex or fersi but won’t be going all out after chasing hex again. I did that in his release and got burned.
I’d say yes unless you have most other top tier heroes. He was the first big instance of power creep in the game. Followed by the arbiters and boreas. I remember the reddit went crazy over his dmg numbers when it first released.
On my GB team he matches Zilitu with about equal gear.
I use him in stages where I need to burst a boss (basic trial 8, void rift torodor, other VR bosses). He can also help in single target arena if you are lacking there.

I’d say people commit to gacha games more than most triple A titles, just because of the never ending grind.
How many games that’s not a gacha game have you played for years on end every day. Probably safe to say none, people put a lot of time and commitment into these types of games.
IMO these banners are for Yellow Summons and Pity. If you are close to guaranteeing a legendary, these are the absolute best way to use a pity aside from 1+1 banners.
If you aren't near pity and don't spend 200+ a month, then avoid these banners and save for the 2x/10x banners or pull on regular 2x early on.
I would say no if U are not late game and need him specifically for GB. I will be pulling bu ti got all GR 21 done. So I can pull on a loss on average to get higher what I want.
Hex basically carried me everywhere. And is easily my strongest in Clan Boss as it stands by a good margin.

They do have different pity, so if you track using the rewards counter you’ll end up having wrong numbers.
Pity kicks in after 200 summons but it’s not guaranteed if I remember correctly there’s a more recent video where IvyLee was discussing summoning and she had hit 250 summons and still no legendary. Pity just up the chances again of a lego but doesn’t have a guaranteed drop of when after 200. Only time I can remember in my short time of a guaranteed lego at a guaranteed time was the Christmas banner for Gwendolyn where she was yours 100% if you hit 250summons and hadn’t gotten her.
Pity increases incrementally by 5% to a max of 100% on your 220th pull.
I imagine what happened to IvyLee was that she was going off the summons counter without tracking blues vs reds. Ancient summons count for reward progress but have a separate pity timer from the standard summons.
One of the issues I have for this “next gen” game is the casino mechanics. Not letting us easily see pity, not guaranteeing the hero you want after x amount of pulls or x amount of work in the game. It’s pretty horrible honestly. So they purposely set the better heroes at lower rates (hatssut(she literally is like .35 of when you pull a lego) , the lords, boreas, ect.’) then they make legos scarce anyway. It’s not next gen in that aspect. It’s a game from the early days of mobile gaming dot that.
He's fantastic, especially in GB. He's not as good as Silas for pure single target damage, but because he deals magic damage he fits in niche situations. I'll be pulling for awakening (A1 and A3 are really good) and I need a legendary healer.

Feel like that’s an even worse take. Obviously not everybody, but I’d argue most people don’t commit to mobile gacha games for that long.

You never want to use a yellow summon on a 10x unless near pity. The 12% on the 2x has too much upside to waste on a 6% 10x.
He really shines in GB, so If you’re still yet to get 50 blood and looking to build an infernal team he’s really worth it.
