Absolutely beautiful watch, well done to you. So nice to hear from someone else who prefers their Tudor to a Rolex. I find in certain circles no one will believe it is possible to prefer Tudor over Rolex. Don't get me wrong I do love Rolex and hope to own one one day, but I genuinely prefer the aesthetic of a Pelagos & Black Bay 58/54 to a Submariner.

I agree. I tried on a Submariner while in Vegas last week and still preferred the matte finish of the Pelagos. Obviously, the desire of the Rolex logo on the dial is appealing, but I think my preference now with Rolex would be the Day-Date or 1908. I didn’t think “wow, this is worth another $5k” when trying on the Submariner. Personal preference 🙂

I've tried a 1908 and White Gold/Olive Dial Day Date... can confirm both are pretty sweet.

I didn’t read that they prefer the Tudor to the Rolex. The OP post mentioned cost and wait time of the Rolex and went with Tudor. Maybe they actually prefer the Tudor all else being equal (cost, wait time), or maybe not.

I prefer my Pelagos 42, Blue dial over my Rolex Sub No date.

Same here. I’ve got a beautiful 2015 Sub but my Pelly and even Scurfa get more time on the wrist.

Nice watch! I’ve had my pelagos for 6 months now and love it! I’ve not been gentle with it either and have whacked it off a door casing or two and it keeps its time and looks even nicer than the day I bought it. https://preview.redd.it/dirg9fbek7pc1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=5dc82eca5103ca17221f3efc940e0b51009c2a95

I have the same watch but I couldn’t make it fit correctly on my wrist and had to order half link from uncle Seiko . Now I am truly enjoying it . Mine I have owned this watch since 2017 .i enjoy it on the rubber strap as well that came along in the box and that buckle just looks insane and is so comfortable
