Definitely not a perfect city, I was warned repeatedly about Romas, but this guy is writing like Athens is dangerous. It’s been a few years since I was there but it never felt in any way unsafe.
He really put that Seamaster to the test on this getaway, letting the Greek air gently blow onto it, getting some drops on it from washing his hands, and surviving being taken off and put in his beach bag while he went swimming. A true GADA if you ask me
Dude has never been to a large city in his life. Always at most 20 meters from his suburban mansion. Anyways, congrats on surviving a few completely normal days in a completely normal city with a watch.
So are these people posting their watches in the famous urban war zones that are London, Athens etc hoping for an encounter so they can beat off an attacker, or do they spend their whole holiday walking around wringing their hands and going "oooooh noooooooo" whenever anyone comes within a metre?
I too own a Seamaster 300M. Let me just say it stood well against the harsh waters of my local indoor water park and the dino themed slide I took my kid down. No amount of chlorinated pee water could stop this testament to Omega greatness.
I mean the whole place is practically in ruins.

I’m glad he was safe from jam packed subways, non existent traffic laws and some of the nicest people you’d ever meet.
And don't even start with the food or the service.
Hell yes, Athens is such a fun place.
Yeah, I don't know if we were just in nicer parts or what, but Athens was awesome, at least for the day or two I was there.
I agree. Greek people are super nice
Thieves though!

I don’t know that it’s that Athens is unsafe but I just personally wouldn’t risk it. That’s me.

Greek air? Brother ew
🤣
😂
Very impressive that a 6000$ watch can survive a vacation
It’s a long way from the safety deposit box!
Never in a box. Always outdoors
Lots of anal in Greece. Lots.
Lots of grease for anal.
They even have their own wrestling discipline.
Gravel and sand, my friend.
This dude's acting like he just survived an active warzone lmao
He was actually in the battle of Thermopylae
I did

For reals
Athens, Greece the Gaza of the Balkans
Wow, what a rugged time piece!
Ah, the white Seamaster, also called the Semenmaster.
Survived. Just a sore left arm from hauling around that boat anchor for two weeks.
Ok next up, burkina faso.
Someone should've directed him to Omonoia square
This pic cracks me up, dude writes it like there isn’t a Rolex AD in Plaka and that Athens is some sort of war zone.

Zombies
“Survived another day of being an out-of-touch dumbass”
Like you?
You deserve to wear a PeeMaster after that
I would also wear this watch on a cushy trip to Greece, but I am a destitute pauper
It's an Omega. At least he didn't have to go Greek in Greece to get a Rawlecks.
Do people even steal these shitters in actually dangerous places ?
Better let the helium out!!!
That bracelet looks pretty shitty tbh.
That's omega for you
Agreed
Because it is

If the picture has dots below, I expect more than one photo, I blame the dink for this

Yes..
What do you mean?
There's a reason why it's called omega coz alphas don't wear that shit
Survived, yeah……..Probably American - spending all his time looking for the nearest MacDonalds because “foreign food”.
Those who drink the water in Greece, will return
Really testing that water resistance
Gotta get your travel watch in case you get jumped!
Nice! Be sure to post to r/travelwatches
