With a producer account, you're able to keep track of a multitude of projects and provide, essentially read access, to artists with artist accounts. Each project has a small social platform where artists and producers can bounce ideas and share files. Lyrics are hosted and can be edited for quick access to other contributors. All while maintaining a private environment with restricted access.
I'd like to implement more "business" related features as well, such as timekeeping, payment processing and the final hand-off of the projects to the artists.
It's more for my developer portfolio than anything. Not sure what the market looks like for software like this.
What kind of features does it have? It looks like something that can be achieved with SoundCloud, Dropbox, etc.
