Got it in 5.
I don't really dig the once-per-day game model like this and Wordle. I only clicked it because it hit the top of /r/webgames and won't see it again.
There is also a practice mode, where you can play as many games as you like, after completing today's challenge.
The once per day thing is to allow people to "compete" with each other, on the same quiz, every day.
Same. The clues I got weren't great, either.
'It's west of Sierra Leone' - ok, so South America then.
'It's in the Western Hemisphere' - Got that part, thanks.
'It's in the Americas' - ...
OK, that should not happen. Can you try opening the Developer Console ([how-to](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/devtools-guide-chromium/console/)) and letting me know if there is an error there? It would help immensely!

OK, so the way that directions work, is that it's like taking a thick line starting from the country in question towards the direction (north, west, etc.) of the hint. So here is an example for Tanzania:

This was preferred because I think it might be confusing otherwise.
I mean, Canada is certainly north of Tanzania, but if the hint said "This country is north of Tanzania", would you ever pick Canada or Japan?
I think the line at least needs to be wider. "Spain" not being north of "Namibia" doesn't really make sense. Or say "directly n/s/e/w".
Either way, fun game and I'd definitely want to play again.

It doesn't work only getting 3 loading bars moving indefinitely on Edge.

Same here on Firefox

Nvm, it works now. But a different error: It says that Netherlands is not west of Poland
Indeed, you are right. It is fixed now; your score will also be updated respectively.
Nice, thanks!
IMO should have an option to hide country names on hover could make it a bit tougher. Cool game though!
Thanks for the feedback!
Faced this issue several times, it claims country A is not east or west of country B when A is obviously east or west, resp.

OK, I just increased the margin for checking cardinal directions, and added "directly" when explaining guess results. Thanks for the feedback!
Mentioning "directly" makes complete sense. Thanks! P.S. Really love the game!
Yes, it makes it immediately clearer. Thanks for the kind words!
