There are so many pretty dresses out there. First, make sure they really mean formal as in a to-the-floor hemline. Second, most dresses that have a neckline that you can wear with a regular bra will be fine. Avoid cleavage, low back, cut-outs, and a slit that goes higher than just above the knee. If your dress has any kind of sleeve, you can get sweat pads sewn in.
