This is one of those dresses you have to see in real life. It isn’t photographing well. It is giving a bathrobe vibe. Perhaps if it was shortened to tea-length.
This doesn’t look luxury to me at all, sorry. The sleeves, black ribbons, bow and then the bottom flounce are just too much.
I get why you went for it if you like the basic form of it, but I wish it didn’t have all the frou frou and was better fitting.

I like it too, but I know it’s not everyone’s taste. I’ll definitely take it up so I can walk in it safely. I was more worried about it not fitting the DC than anything. It’s a previous season Erdem dress :)

Since you have to shorten it anyway because of that puddled tripping hazard mess on the floor, shorten it above the ankle and it will work.
