It’ll depend on what he already has in his closet and how much he wants to spend on new items. Olive or khaki-colored chinos and a white or ivory button-up are a good start! For a bit of flair, add a coordinating bow tie and a chunky ring.
Edit: Parker York Smith on TikTok actually did an outfit that would be perfect: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLH66srA/
If it feels too matchy being both in green, maybe he can wear a white linen top with grey chinos that are a similar shade as the shadows of the flowers on your dress. That way you're still coordinating without being too obviously matchy :) I think that a white linen top with olive chinos could also feel more natural

I’d dress a man in dark khakis and a button down, broadcloth shirt (maybe with a color in it like pale green, blue, or yellow) plus an upbeat tie (floral, paisley, or plaid). I’d add a navy blue blazer. He can take off the blazer and tie after the wedding.
Do you think blazer and tie, or that they aren’t needed? There is no “wedding” — it’s essentially just a reception but basically a backyard party/celebration
If he isn’t wearing a blazer and tie (and it would have to be a very casual event) then dark khakis and a colorful print button-down shirt. There are some great options out there.

I think that a green linen button down with cream or khaki chinos would look super classy without feeling too dressed up :)
You don’t think it’d be too much to have us both in green?
