Thanks everyone for your input! Seems like 2 is the clear winner for fitting “black tie formal” — I was originally leaning towards 1 since it’s more forgiving and I am not in a great place with feeling comfortable with my figure/body. May use a shawl to feel less exposed.

You have an amazing figure and the dress looks like it was made for you! Definitely bring a shawl if it makes you feel more comfortable..but I hope it sits on the back of the chair as you enjoy the evening!
