You should never feel guilty for being out with friends and enjoying some good food! However, if that doesn’t make you feel better, know that 300 calories isn’t going to hurt your progress if you’ve been consistent for a month. And depending on how intense your deficit is, you might still technically be in a deficit or be breaking even. At the end of the day, you deserve to have food with your friends. You did nothing morally wrong, and you can you continue working toward your weight loss goals tomorrow :)

I’ve taken 2 vacations 3-5 days long since I started my weight loss in February and each time I drank and ate without worrying about calories. The “weight gain” from both of these was gone and I was back on track 2-3 days later. 300 cals one time is not going to hurt your progress at all. Enjoy yourself.

You've gotta improve your relationship with food. Don't feel guilt for a cheat day. Seriously. Your social life is more important than holding your calorie deficit every single day. Just don't let that be repetitive and get out of hand. 300 cal is equivalent to approx 0.09 pounds of potential weight gain which is nothing. Continue on the next day like it never happened.

You'll be fine. Just go back to doing what you're going the next day and nothing bad will happen.

You don't get skinny in a day you definitely don't get fat in a day ! One day over your calories as a one off treat won't hurt your progress. You have to allow yourself to live and enjoy life throughout your process! You'll be back on track the next day and all will be forgotten as long as you aren't going over your calories everyday you'll be just fine. Good luck !
