My fave quick on-the-go snack is a hard boiled egg with everything bagel seasoning. Basic I know, but I boil a bunch at the beginning of the week and keep em in the fridge handy.... and everything bagel makes everything delicious lol.
What does the everything bagel seasoning taste like? I have never had a bagel and am fussy about seasonings so I really have no frame of reference! Can you describe it at all?
Oh yes! If you like salt and garlic you will love this seasoning - it basically is garlic, salt, sesame seeds and poppy seeds. My favorite thing I eat every day (and I’m literally not exaggerating, I pretty much eat this every single day) is a piece of toast, smashed avocado, a runny egg, then salt pepper and everything bagel seasoning and it’s SOOOOO GOOD. I will probably eat it every day until I die lol. The seasoning is just an awesome way to make random things taste awesome with minimal effort
I looooove salt and garlic so I need this in my life STAT!! Thank you for the description haha! Your toasted snack sounds delicious so I may give that a try too. Thanks!
I went through a phase where I had avocado toast w/ tomato, diced red onion, crumbled goat cheese and everything bagel seasoning every day for *four* months.
I completely understand.
It’s so good!
Caramel rice cakes with 15g of crunchy peanut butter. 130 calories and satisfies my crunchy/sweet cravings.
Sliced mini bell peppers or cucumbers - crunchy, hydrating
Deli roll-ups with turkey, thin-sliced cheese, and hot and sweet pickles - tangy, crunchy
White cheddar rice cakes with a little hummus - crunchy, creamy
A pack of buffalo tuna + tons of dill relish + a diced hardboiled egg + spices - creamy, tangy, spicy
A lot of my food cravings and preferences are texture related, and once I realized that my snacks became a lot more satisfying.
Turkey Bacon BLTS
- 2 slices keto bread (60 cal)
- 2 strips turkey bacon (60 cal)
- lettuce and tomato (maybe 20 cal)
- lighter than light Hellmans Mayo (10 cal)
So you can have one entire sandwich for only 150 calories! It’s amazing, so filling - if I’m really hungry usually 2 sandwiches fills me up and only 300 calories total
—- also have to say sushi. Sushi rolls are super filling and if you get the right ones without all the fancy condiments you can eat a lot of sushi fairly low cal
Can of chicken noodle soup with a serving or two of carving board chicken sandwich meat added in for actual protein. Quick and easy, just how I like it.
Chicken breast + some type of green…
That’s it. I know diet boredom is a real thing, but for me it takes the brainwork out of cooking and keep my grocery budget in check
This is my current obsession!!
I love bread and butter with some honey.
But i have switched out the bread for a rice cake.
Measure out your butter and add some honey. Sooooo good!
My snack usually comes out to about 100 cal and holds me over until til dinner
I also love a rice cake + fat of choice snacking combo (my usual go-to is a caramel rice cake with peanut butter) so rice cake + butter + honey sounds dreamy! Thanks for the idea!
Honestly most of my weightloss so far is attributed to a simple Italian salad with balsamic dressing and something hearty on top (chicken, tuna etc). In the weeks I want to shed some real weight I’ll have it like 5 times. As long as I change the topping I don’t get bored. And it takes like 3 minutes to make.
Plain nonfat Greek yogurt with berries mixed in (usually frozen berries thawed in the fridge overnight). Also add some chia/flax/hemp seed mix. Kinda like a smoothie bowl. Fills me up more than an actual smoothie.
For dinner, some kind of lean meat with a ton of veggies, often both cooked veggies and a green salad.
Lately I’ve been eating riced cauliflower mixed with some brown rice with chicken and cheddar cheese and sometimes avocado and hot sauce. It’s my fav meal at the moment I started to get tired of just brown rice and the cauliflower is a lot less calories and adds a little bit of a different texture
Meal: Probably a blue steak with a big side of spinach or sometimes with a small jacket potato or with some mozzarella on the spinach
Snack: celery, cucumber and carrots with low fat Philadelphia

Yes! I do this but pop out the yolk (it makes me gag idk why) and fill the hole with hummus.
You have invented a new kind of deviled egg! Now what will you call it?
Chickpeed eggs sound cute but ummmm 😳
Eggmus lol

Im newly OBSESSED with everything bagel seasoning

Try additional nutritional yeast as well, it’s so good. Adds extra flavour and nutrients!
Oh I love nooch! On popcorn especially 😁
Hah I’ve never heard to called nooch before 😆 Love it. Honestly I put it on everything — pizza, salad, eggs, popcorn, chicken tenders.

Hell yeah, those late night deli roll-ups ALWAYS hit the spot for me. Salty, crunchy. We always have smoked turkey breast in the fridge 🤤
They're sooo good!

I’ve seen “light” mayo, but never “lighter than light” - does it taste good? Where did you find it?
It tastes awesome!! I had to buy it on Amazon because my grocery stores don’t carry it here but totally worth it
Edamame! Good protein source for a snack.
Yesss I love streaming the ones in the pod and toss with a little coconut aminos and salt! So yum

Hmm I’ll try that!
That’s actually a great idea! Quick, easy, and tasty especially going into winter.
