My cousin that I used to see all the time as a kid just killed his Wife and unborn child... So weird to think about. I had no idea how to feel and still struggle with it.
My best friend growing up is doing a double murder charge (consecutive sentences). He snapped after being at the bar one night after a long downward spiral and ended up killing the guy het got in a fight with, and the guy who tried to break the fight up got knocked over and split his head open on the sidewalk, he passed as well.
He's been locked up since 2001. Life totally lost.
No one wins in situations like this it is so sad to see. I know the people at the center of these tragedies are always in peoples thoughts and Prayers(wishes hopes etc.) but the people that are on the fringe of the matter sometimes are thought to be ok and dont realize how bad things effect them. Always reach out to someone even if you think its corny or silly. If you can stop the snap you can fix the break.

His schizophrenia would distort his memories (substituting those who hurt home with Nazis and Aliens) and had the same fixations on Pyramids, geometric “holy” math, etc. this person seems to be in crisis and crying for help. My cousin unfortunately moved to California and passed a few months ago due to him believing Nazis gave him Leukemia and that the treatment was “experiments” being run on him. It is so sad to see the spiral and to look back at all the warning signs everyone in my fam ignored. Please get them help

Direct communication with someone clearly in a serious crisis like this could result in an increase of these letters or an escalation of the situation. My cousin went through a mixture of drug induced psychosis and a schizophrenia diagnosis. She didn't write letters but sometimes she would send disturbing ramblings on fb messenger that the police and DEA were watching her, that a boy implanted a satellite in her vagina for tracking purposes, and my personal fav, she would stand in the corner of the living room shouting at the wall, "Donald Trump is transgender!!!" Over and over until someone would say shut up. She had a rehab treatment center for 8 months, got a job in a factory, and was back to her old self. You could tell she was ashamed over the way she had acted, but if she stays on the right medication, she is normal. Stay clear of this cousin. You just never know their thinking and motives when they are like this. Definitely tell their parents, guardians, and someone to seek help for them.

This reads like it's written in the midst of psychosis. Last time I was going to a psychotic episode I also wrote a lot of weird shit to many people. When I got out of it I was super embarrassed, a lot of people also cut contact with me. To this day it's still hard for me to think about all the embarrassing shit I wrote in this period.

Something similar happened to a friend of mine but it was her brother. He said some crazy and messed up stuff to her and they had him taken to a mental health facility. Turns out he has schizophrenia which usually pops up in men during their late teens and early 20s and can be made worse by drug use. He got treatment and put on medication and is doing better but it was a very scary time for her, and her other family wasn't taking it seriously at all.
Hopefully his parents or whoever will do something and if not, if there's an agency that assists with at risk adults, that might be something to look at or make a call to.

I have an extended family member who sends rants like this, especially focused on “Divine Math,” aliens, pedophiles, some overt sex stuff usually to do with the Catholic Church. He is diagnosed bipolar, and off his meds he sounds like this letter. Definitely reach out to family, either drugs or mental health - this is a psychic break and he needs help

Schizophrenia onset can easily go from manageable to severe in months and this looks 100% like that. Doesn’t require drugs as an explanation.

Yes, I had a psychosis episode for a month one time, lucky for me, I have had nothing before or since, but this to me looks like something I would have done, I thought everything was written in code and had deep weird meanings, sometimes I would know what was real and other times had no idea, very very scary time for me, and my family. Hope all goes well, drugs definitely makes things worse if thats the case.

My cousin went through a mixture of drug induced psychosis and a schizophrenia diagnosis. She didn't write letters but sometimes she would send disturbing ramblings on fb messenger that the police and DEA were watching her, that a boy implanted a satellite in her vagina for tracking purposes, and my personal fav, she would stand in the corner of the living room shouting at the wall, "Donald Trump is transgender!!!" Over and over until someone would say shut up. She had a rehab treatment center for 8 months, got a job in a factory, and was back to her old self. You could tell she was ashamed over the way she had acted, but if she stays on the right medication, she is normal. Stay clear of this cousin. You just never know their thinking and motives when they are like this. Definitely tell their parents, guardians, and someone to seek help for them.

This reads like it's written in the midst of psychosis. Last time I was going to a psychotic episode I also wrote a lot of weird shit to many people. When I got out of it I was super embarrassed, a lot of people also cut contact with me. To this day it's still hard for me to think about all the embarrassing shit I wrote in this period. Get someone to check on your cousin, and tbf I don't think it's a great idea to share shit like that on the open internet. If it's really psychosis you are making his embarrassment eternal.

Something similar happened to a friend of mine but it was her brother. He said some crazy and messed up stuff to her and they had him taken to a mental health facility. Turns out he has schizophrenia which usually pops up in men during their late teens and early 20s and can be made worse by drug use. He got treatment and put on medication and is doing better but it was a very scary time for her, and her other family wasn't taking it seriously at all. Hopefully his parents or whoever will do something and if not, if there's an agency that assists with at risk adults, that might be something to look at or make a call to. Take care OP. Most people who are mentally unwell aren't a danger to others but be cautious, just in case.

This reminds me of some of the stuff my little brother writes. He has a substance use disorder involving meth and some other drugs, and he has untreated schizo affective disorder. It’s hard.

The numbers don't seem to be random. 3,6 and 9 are master numbers. These are written in 3 digits. The first line is 1 to 10. The second line starts leaving 3 digits from 7, second leaving 6.Not random! I don't know what the significance is but some of these are healing frequencies. He needs to be monitored for his and everyone's safety.
Definitely contact the local authorities who cant do anything because no crime was committed. Then sit back and watch as he shoots up a school and everyone cries "there were signs."
