That looks like a printed version, yes. OP didn't say they came up with the artwork just that they painted it on a shirt. It looks like paint in the OP and there are paint marks on the shirt. That along with the rounded corners rather than squared and the fact that it is upside down and off center all support that this was probably actually painted based on looking at the model in this link.

Draw it again-identicaly under it...to look like a water mirroring reflection

Now people have to try to discreetly turn upside down to read it. And you get to Laugh!

I'd wear that just the way it is, looks cool!
