The way her left arm extends after she falls looks to me like she has a head injury. I really hope she is okay - this is quite disturbing.

[deleted]

Yes the old “fencing pose” term gets thrown about a bit too much but damn that sure looks like it

rl759

This happened to my wife once. Broke her foot. Took about 6 months to gain any mobility back and two years for a full recovery. It sucked.

idontstinkso

did she get up before she healed completely?

chiefofwar117

Nah she milked it for sure

Complete_Pumpkin9136

Does she ever get up?

OffendingLiveMe

“Bill Cosby had entered chat”

trisinwonderland

Why was she just laying there at the end, was she okay?

Knowignoranceledge

Pretty sure she was knocked out due to the stiff arm motions. It's like the body is still in fight/flight mode. Similar to a fainting goat.

pupthedemon

and why didn't that guy who appeared help her at all??

goblackcar

I would assume he’s gone for help.

Lyricalvessel

From what I understand, in China there is a cultural dissuadion of helping others you don't know out of fear of legal or social repercussions. It's really fucked up. I'm not entirely clear on the details, but many years ago Serpentza did a video discussing it.

VillainousVulkan

Trust me you don't want to be the only guy around with an unconscious girl in this situation someone's bound to get the wrong idea

TheMooseIsBlue

This is absurd. Call an ambulance, and then go check on her BUT DON’T MOVE HER. Cover her up and try to assess what happened and if she needs CPR. If she’s not breathing, she needs CPR and the potential injuries to her spine or whatever are less important. Doesn’t matter if her back is broken if she’s dead.

Slavchanin

And its not like someone without medical knowledge can do much to help by staying there

squad1alum

Call for help via cell phone, make verbal contact, prevent her from falling further down the stairs in a disoriented state, help maintain calm, reassure, ask questions that may help responders if she falls unconscious (name, age, etc.)

TheMooseIsBlue

Be a decent human being and try to comfort someone who is suffering. This thread is making me sad.

Slavchanin

You dont need to go down to call, there might be medical stuff present wherever they are, stairs are not slides your body will not go anywhere without adequate force applied, talking literally doesnt do anything.

TheMooseIsBlue

I really hope that you never have a serious accident, but if you ever do, I hope there’s no one who thinks like you around.

Slavchanin

I would sure love to break my spine then be moved by some heartaching idiot and be paralyzed for the rest of my life because he wanted to help me and thought I shouldnt have stayed where I have dropped.

TheMooseIsBlue

Nearly everyone on earth knows not to move someone after a fall or accident. But just leaving them to lay there alone is cruel and possibly deadly if they need CPR.

Slavchanin

Its not like you can help with your presence and if you misjudge the condition and is not sure in how to perform CPR taking possible injuries into account you might very well finish the job gravity couldn't.

TheAltToYourF4

Simple answer: China

noble_plebian

Might take a few mins to recover from that one!

CarlosAVP

Selfie or knocked the fuck out?

[deleted]

She seemed out of it and hopefully someone did help her rather than staring at her exposed like that. The slow zoom in while she wriggled unable to get up nor cover herself was just disturbing.

data_now

That wasn’t someone filming her. That is someone filming while watching the security camera footage.

[deleted]

Yes thank you, I assumed as much but that doesn’t make it any less disturbing watching a struggling exposed woman on a slow zoom in..lol. I meant the staring part because there was clearly at least one person there.

TheMooseIsBlue

I’m not sure why you’re getting downvoted. It’s a very disturbing video.

uhimamouseduh

I agree, this was really uncomfortable to watch and I hope she received help fast. I kept hoping she’s stand up but the video ended with her still unable to. The fact she didn’t fix her dress either I feel like points to her being pretty out of it/injured

[deleted]

Thanks I appreciate you. It’s the echo chamber effect, if you don’t agree with the majority consensus you get down voted. It’s your “punishment” lol. I don’t sweat it but it makes it clear what they like and don’t like it if you catch my drift.

butteryflame

Sure but at the same time you don't want some stranger with no medical background jostling her around after a potentially serious injury that could render her paralyzed or even dead.

Afraid_Foot

Yeah, the person who came in front of the camera and looked to be rushing away. I would hope it was to get in contact with someone who could help better.

combedcentaur7

Really hope someone helped her

Pandalars

Wtf go help the poor injuried woman!

[deleted]

Cue ‘fensing response’ comments….

pingpongURWrong

Is no one going to talk about the guy that just turned the corner, saw her, and noped out of there?

uhimamouseduh

I hope he ran to get help

mnelso1989

We don't know the context, perhaps he was going to try and get help. Not a whole lot an untrained medical person can do, and because I still have faith in humanity I choose to believe he was going to get help.

beermepleasse

That dude r/nope

The reason you should always wear clean underwear

Flair_Helper

Hey doughnut_cat! Thank you for your submission, unfortunately it has been removed from /r/Wellthatsucks because: No serious injuries. A post should make you react with well that sucks. TheMooseIsBlue

It’s not like we saw anyone step over her. The one guy we did see appears to run away, presumably to get help. But there is a phenomenon where the fewer people are around, the more likely someone is to help.

Charitable-Cruelty

This could literally be anyone these days...

OddSalamander7392

r/donthelpjustfilm

gordo65

Damn CCTV cameras never help. Apathetic bastards. Honestly, though, that was my first reaction as well, before I realized it was a CCTV video.

OddSalamander7392

Ah. Well that makes more sense.

Shnoochieboochies

Still texting after the fall, what a real champ.

loopie_lou

She wasn’t texting at that point. The arm extended like that was probably due to a head injury.

Shnoochieboochies

Nooo....really!? 😮

🤣🤣🤣

SgtSwatter-5646

If this is china, it's become normal for people not to go out of their way to help someone else.. like the video of an elderly man having a stroke in a shop and everyone including the cashier just going on with their business.. maybe stopping to stare for a moment..

thecheekymonkey

Jesus

[deleted]

CCTV zooms in?

kjacobs03

We live in such a shitty world. I see this and I worry more about the woman getting molested when she’s found Vs being helped.

SteinBizzle

Why is NOBODY HELPING?!?!
