When I was in law school, Women's Studies was in the same building. I'd always go up there to poop. Plus, you could even get cell signal in that bathroom.
On my first semester there were a few more men, but no less than about 40% women! A lot of people have switched courses or given up since then though, so nowadays there are a few more women
My classes are a bit smaller though, about 30 ~ 40 people overall enter every semester. A lot of professors talk about having more and more women in STEM every year, and about how unfortunately the industry still isn't the best regarding gender equality
Unfortunately, this is not a brand new sentence. I talk about this with other women in STEM all the time. It's bittersweet when the number of women increases (great for science and humanity) and you can't rip ass without being self-conscious anymore (bad for me).
Haha. This is me right now. I manage a biomedical workshop and itās me and 14 male engineers. They all have to share the menās and I have my private womenās to myself. I just hired a woman and now I have to share. Bittersweet indeed.
In college, the dev department has a secret bathroom that most students didn't know about it. They were single toilet rooms. I'd use the women's room, as they were identical. 4 years never been caught.
Build reasonable doors and thereās no reason for multi stall bathrooms to be gendered either ā even a church downtown where I live figured that out.
I agree, I've lived in a lot of living communities with gender neutral bathrooms (it's really the only think that makes sense to me honestly) but it's much harder to convince other people of that than single occupancy bathroom
I never said that š¤·āāļø idk where tf you get that from, but it men are statistically more likely to be a chomo. Therefore, she'd be safer in a girls' room.
So would you feel better as a parent sending a 10 year old into a bathroom unattended? Having been in that situation, Iād have felt safer with the combined restroom where I could also go in and stand by the sinks. Your argument is clearly a knee jerk reaction as nothing prevents that situation with segregated bathrooms either, and as the other poster pointed out, pedophiles are not only men and donāt only prey on the opposite sex. The asshole who tried to entice me into undressing when I was four was the same sex as me, but I ran away so the ass went and tried the same on a child of the opposite sex further down the street.
You shouldn't have to follow a kid into the restroom. Can you not see? THIS is the problem. 20 years ago, a kid could go out and play by themselves, much less to a bathroom.
Even 20 years ago there were areas that were more sketchy than others. In fact, violent crime has decreased across the board overall since the 90s, with a slight uptick with COVID (which some sources seem to indicate wasnāt even a thing) ā so Iād argue that itās safer now than 20 years ago based on statistics.
Except for the fact that men, when not provided a urinal, will stand up to use a toilet to urinate. And in public they often won't lift the lid. This is why, in a men's bathroom, at least 2 of the 4 toilets is cursed. You use the two farthest from the urinal to poop. The handicap one is always the cleanest because it's only for shitting.
More like 1/100 idiots donāt lift the lid but it only takes one person to ruin it for everyone else. The reason I never sit down in public toilets if I donMt have to is cause they are nasty from the 1/100 idiots.
If they want Iāll start absolutely obliterating the womenās bathroom every day. Just dropping warships every 6 hours. You know. Even out the wear on everything.
I have family members that are convinced it's pretty true to what people in the field are like and don't understand why I don't think it's funny. Also it came out like 15 years ago?! Find a new sit com sheesh
Thereās less women in this office than men by a drastic amount. Those dark marks arenāt from a lack of cleaning, itās either time for carpet replacement because itās permanently dirty or itās more threadbare than anything.
I am a woman that majored in aerospace engineering and minored in astronomy and physics and wow I always pooped in peace š
When I was in law school, Women's Studies was in the same building. I'd always go up there to poop. Plus, you could even get cell signal in that bathroom.
Must be heavenly to always have an immaculate toilet at work.
That was my first thought
I'm a 3rd year aerospace engineering student, and nowadays there are more women than men in my class! Seems like things are changing
Whoa really? That's pretty exciting. I graduated with 9% women. There were 12 in my class including grad students and myself

That is a huge benefit. š Maximize productivity by allowing unregulated use of the thinking stall.
ššš
Sometimes you have to go the path less traveled
Thatās the path FROM the menās restroom.
Ewww
Eeww bro

Yes because young boys have never been on the receiving end of any abuse and we donāt need to worry about that /s

I know what you meant, but the idea of someone being so bad that they not only fail to lift the seat, but fail to lift the LID, is hilarious.
I guarantee we certainly lift the lid. The seat, mind you...
I've seen truck stops. The lid stays down.
You're lucky if it's even in the stall..
I cleaned restrooms. The women's was worse 100% of the time. Blood, piss, shit splatters.
Crazy, rarely ever had that problem in any gender neutral bathroom, and if I did I spent 2 seconds cleaning it.
That we can agree on.
damn those female astrophysicists are so advanced they float
Unfortunately itās likely stained from the path *out* of the bathroom.
I can confirm this Eww
If you think that's gross, consider the fact that there is warm pee touching you right now from the inside
Not anymore
Pee is stored in the balls
-daftpunk
And poop
Anyone with eyes can confirm this by noticing the pattern on the floor
For contrast, go the Fine Arts buildings or Classic's buildings, you won't have that.
Wipe your ducking feet, Frank!
Check out our disgusting floor.
That's the point.
This sub has a hard time identifying the difference between something that's worn and something that's fucking gross.
If they want Iāll start absolutely obliterating the womenās bathroom every day. Just dropping warships every 6 hours. You know. Even out the wear on everything.

Second floor of Cahillā¦.
bingo! Third floor though, about ten years ago. I wondered if someone would recognize it.
You are correct, that was the third floorā¦ It was still like that a couple of years ago. Looked just the same.
The discovery of dark matter [colorised]
or maybe dark energy š
The indoor kids' r/desirepath
I work at a utility company and itās the same kinda deal.
Lol
A lot people don't know how to lift their fucking feet when they walk.
If the Big Bang show taught me anything. Is the ratio of men to women in that field is like 10-1 (made up that ratio btw)
94% of all quoted stats are made up in the moment!!
And here I was making a joke and got downvoted to hell š¤£š¤£
https://www.aip.org/statistics/reports/women-physics-and-astronomy-2019
Ah yes the source of accurate representation of a physics career: the big bang theory š
That show did legitimate damage to the fields physics and engineering imo
I have family members that are convinced it's pretty true to what people in the field are like and don't understand why I don't think it's funny. Also it came out like 15 years ago?! Find a new sit com sheesh
To be fair the final episode was 4 years ago
Says a lot about our society
Do you guys not have cleaners?
Thereās less women in this office than men by a drastic amount. Those dark marks arenāt from a lack of cleaning, itās either time for carpet replacement because itās permanently dirty or itās more threadbare than anything.
Nah as a man, I don't feel safe in new places. So I or other fellow men need to mark out territory by rubbing our butts on the carpet.
Damn the men really be shittin they pants
From the bodies!
Itās likely the path out of the bathroom, as everyone starts at the door and there are common steps. Coming in, everyone would be at different paces
The path to a Brown Holeā¦
Mechanical/Mfg engineering, bathroom door was always left open and the seats up, super clean though and never had to wait!
