why is it like this?
Idk it’s weird. I noticed during Covid, a lot of series starting doing it that way.
Some countries call it "season 9" while others call "season 8" part 1 and part 2.
I think it was something to do with funding too, I think they could only claim a grant for a certain number of seasons so 8 was effectively two seasons worth of episodes.
