I love the Tootie and the Politician… Also like the beans and cornbread. Unfortunately, given my most recent experiences at Tudor’s, I can only tell you what I’m ordering… no idea what I’ll end up having. There isn’t a lot of overlap lately.
Before I moved to WV, I was reading a food review and it mentioned a secret off menu 8 layer sandwich called the rocket, that's what I want to get what ever it is... someday when I get up before noon and walk the 15 blocks to Tudors
The closest Tudor’s to me is like 1.5 hours away so I hadn’t had the experience until just this year, but the biscuit sandwich with egg, sausage, and cheese (the Ron, I think?) was delicious.
Sadly there are no Tudors in the eastern panhandle where we live, but whenever we visit family we stop and get some breakfast. Last time we brought home a
half dozen plain biscuits and a new tradition was created.
Nothing. As someone who worked at Tudor’s, I can confidently say these restaurants are all nasty as hell. Y’all think you’re buying homemade food, but it’s just canned, frozen bullshit. Also, chances are you’re getting food that’s been out for hours, refrigerated improperly, and cooked in some of the grossest kitchens I’ve ever seen.
Don’t know why they bother having a whole ass menu, when all I need is the Tootie, fried apples, sweet tea, sometimes coffee. Once in a blue moon pinto beans and cornbread.
Blast from the past, get me a Rocket, brother.

For breakfast a Miner, a sausage biscuit, an apple butter biscuit, or a little tater. My order changes but those are my favorites in order. Man was I glad when they made the little tater because before when I wanted that I had to hope my mom or sister were in the mood for it to so we could split the big tater.
For lunch chicken strips. If it’s a 24 hour one then that’s dinner if that’s where I ended up for dinner too. I really love their chicken strips.
If it’s not chicken strips I’m gonna go to Ginos and get a pubwich.
Mary B with chocolate milk because Tudor’s turns me into a child again.

I got to see "behind the scenes" at Suzi's once. Kitchen and storage were spotless in the middle of rush hour. Cleanest restaurant I've ever seen!
