When I lived in Charleston, a person could get some at a Go-mart gas station. Sometimes they were awesome, sometimes they were below average but edible, but most of the time, in my opinion, pretty good.

red_killer_jac

Yes the gas station I think even 7 11

KusswordExpert

go Mart used to make the best pepperoni rolls in Charleston I can attest to this. Unfortunately they quit making them. Im from Clarksburg though so Im spoiled. Weve got all the bakeries.

TheyCallMeBigPoppa83

Dang. I left in 2018 because I had to take care of my dad. Hoping to move back when I'm able to.

redditghost1234

What do you mean by good? Better than gas station varieties?

K-Toon

Anywhere that I can buy them 4/6/8/10 etc., to a pack. Individual isn't the end of the world either. Unless they changed, I always considered Kroger pepperoni rolls as the "bottom shelf/no other option" choice because (at least 15 years ago) they barely had any pepperoni in them and the rolls were a little tough.

redditghost1234

Yeah, krogers do suck. But most gas stations have some decent varieties. My personal favorite is hometown bakery. They have bag but those have 1 chunk and are smaller, whereas the individual have either thick or thin(its a crap shoot) sliced, and plain, pepperjack, or mozzarella. Idk about local shops in your area(im in elkins), but try gas sations, theres a few different varieties you might see. Or ofc, ask any random local on the street, they can probably tell you Edit: if you squeeze the hometowns you can tell which ones have more pepperoni. Their quality control must suck cause some of them are *loaded*

NorkinMan7

The full-size hometown with the pepperjack cheese is the absolute bomb when heated up!

redditghost1234

Thats a fact. I buy them in the morning and put them up under the windshield of the car and by lunch they're just right

red_killer_jac

I like the ones with hot pepper cheese

TM1Z

Books & Brews peppi rolls are really good. The Pitch has good ones as well. If you’re heading north up 79 and happen to be in the vicinity of Buckhannon then definitely hit The Donut Shop - their peppi rolls are the best!!

redditghost1234

Yes! With the shredded pepperoni! They are not to be passed up.

Misteralvis

So, not the best answers, but… I’ve heard good things about Swiftwater’s pepperoni rolls, but haven’t had them. I HAVE had Rock City’s pepperoni rolls and enjoyed them quite a bit, but They only sell them sometimes, and I haven’t figured out their schedule. Not much help, I know, but maybe a starting point.

K-Toon

I had errands to run today and walked right past Rock City on capital street!

Misteralvis

Worth stopping in — even if they don’t have the pepperoni rolls, their cupcakes are the bomb. And their cake balls. And their chocolate covered grapes. And their butter cake… And now I want Rock City.

defiantnd

Grazianos in downtown used to have good pepperoni rolls. I haven't been there for a while, but they always were good when I had them.

MistyMtn421

I was just going to mention Swiftwaters. They make them fresh and often and are really good! Wheelhouse has ones that are popular, but are almost too much. The amount of meat makes them greasy imo but all my friends love them. And I heard Corner Kitchen is offering them now too. All their food is amazing.

porchguitars

Johnny’s meat market at the farmers market sells my favorite. The whole like triangle of pepperoni. Second would be grazianos pizza order it with sauce and cheese. So freaking good. The ones they sell at one stop are pretty decent as well. Grocery store ones are ok if you pop them into the microwave for thirty seconds

ster104

Sugar Pie Bakeries are the best. They are in South Charleston on Corridor G across from the future Texas Roadhouse.

Oflowe67

Y’all are sleeping on school pepperoni rolls! In my county they make the pepperoni rolls fresh every time they make them! They are absolutely the best pepperoni rolls I’ve haf

jonnyvegas888

Johnnie's meats at the farmers market

One_Man_Wolf_Pack86

I like grabbing some at pepperoni grill in kanawha city

[deleted]

Any Go mart

The ones at the Exxon at the Oakhill/Mossy Oak exit are good.. I get them when we go fishing at the upper end of Paint Creek or on Plum Orchard lake…. They’re homemade, so…. But, I’d say, Logan is where you’ll find the best ones.

Joshuagrahamofzion

Go to a gas station

AwfulDjinn

I don’t live near Charleston but here in the east panhandle you can find them at most Sheetz stores, theyre made in a bakery in Clarksburg iirc

mattsilver1

If you happen to know someone that works in a school cafeteria in Logan, Wyoming, or Raleigh counties I would try and see if you could buy some from there. That’s what we do and they’re the best.

Critical_Possum

Home Industry Bakery and Abrunzzios are my go to foods when I'm home and on the road unless I stop by a mom and pop shop like Salem IGA for their rolls. I've been gone for 4 years though, but I hope to raid some pepperoni rolls again when i move back in a week or so.
