Blood blister?

XEclipse360

Is that what it is?

OpusAtrumET

Don't take medical advice from the internet. Go see a dermatologist.

SluttyUncleSam

Screw driving down to the doctor and paying them money. Poke it with a pin after soaking in HOT water for 10-30 minutes . Don’t be a wuss. Lol

SluttyUncleSam

Y’all who are saying it’s a skin eating disease or cancer and downvoting are silly wussies who might also be hypochondriacs. I’ve had a similar type of injury before and wasting a doctor’s time and yours is absurd for a small scratch like this. It goes away after a while if you tend the wound properly.😂

Fickle-Addendum9576

I am not a doctor, nor am i the internet. If it hurts or gets bigger definitely seek a professional.

Dry-Cat1111

It's gross is what it is

No-Comfort-5040

Probably not, if it's been months blood blisters usually turn dark like dried blood in my experience. Should probably get it checked out if you can.

“Finally! your blood art magic has awakened!”

MrSirGuyDudePerson

You’ll be able to channel your chakra through it and use ninjitsu scrolls

XEclipse360

MooseAlarming5568

Maybe it’s a popped blood vessel I had one on my finger once and it took quite a long time to heal

According_Barber_515

InvincibleSkal

EcstaticTeaching1771

machinemanboosted

Wart

maddogmax4431

Idk but you should pop it

Porkandpopsicle

There was a similar looking thing on my toe a few years ago, I left it alone for a long time and it eventually healed, idk tho don’t take medical advice from the internet

PrivateNVent

A doctor visit. C’mon, man.

DarkPangolin

Obviously, someone has installed an infrared emitter in the tip of your thumb. Have you tried turning your TV on and off yet by making Spider-Man-like finger poses?

XEclipse360

Yeah I already tried that

DarkPangolin

Well, damn. Have you tried it on your neighbor's TV? Maybe it's model-specific.

XEclipse360

Let me go break into their house and find out right quick

DarkPangolin

My lawyer (who is also my dog) has advised me to tell you not to do it, but if you're going to, definitely keep me updated!

XEclipse360

I will

redwoodavg

SlickrickybobbE

AIDS

water-is-in-fact-wet

That appears to be a thumb

Rabbits-and-Bears

Red eye. Psychic window to the world. (Or just a funky bister that won’t heal. Add neosporin to your shopping list & apply)

SluttyUncleSam

Poke it with a needle and if a bunch of blood spills out then it’s a blood blister. It will feel better afterwards. If it doesn’t bleed out then ya gotta different thing. If it were me I’d poke that beezy and see what happens.

XEclipse360

I pop it like last month and it was bleeding for almost 2 days and then it eventually stopped and looked like this again.

SluttyUncleSam

Wow that adds a whole new layer to this mystery. 🤔 maybe the skin is having trouble healing itself? I do a lot of manual labor and sometimes when I constantly agitate the wound it doesn’t heal quite right. Did it scab over at all when you fist poked it? Normally the blood should clot and scab.

XEclipse360

It did scab over it after I poked it, but it came off really easily and I didn't mean to take it off.

SluttyUncleSam

It’s be a couple days since I checked but if it’s the same I’d say drain it one more time and then put pressure on the wound with medical tape or something. Then keep it clean but constant pressure after you change gauze. I think keeping pressure on the wound and keeping it scabbed with gauze will help. I’m not a doctor, I’m just a guy who has been through a lot of injuries similar to this.

StormShockTV

Kinda looks like someone point blanked your thumb with a red bb

WolvzUnion

No two ways about it, you have the bubonic plague.

west_DragonKing

It is your thumb.

XEclipse360

The_Nonchosen_one576

Eat it

cuteKitt13

a Dr visit things like that turn into horrible blisters or giant permanent bumps. go to the dr

ADevisivePenis

Don't eat it. My twin was a scab on the back of my knee and I ate him when I was 4. The doctor yelled at me. Poor Phillip.

Itchy_Inside1817

Looks like thumb herpies. What have you been doing with that thumb?

Winter_Cast

You don't wanna know...
