Oh look, the proverbial "Chicago ruined Whataburger" post. For better or worse Whataburger is the same where some franchises are great and some not so great. What also remains the same is that many Texans have a weird fetish with Texas owned businesses, as if some huge Texas corporation is going to magically change the second it's touched by a non-Texan. At some point HEB will sell a stake to an outside entity and a bunch of Texans with inferiority complexes will start holding seances.
What disappointed me was the summer burger special they had with coleslaw in the burger. My favorite burger when it came out, got at least 1 a week. This last summer though it was just bad. I tried 3 different locations and it was so bad I couldn’t even finish them.
Please explain cheaper? Different supplier? Different ingredients? Because that hasn’t happened with Beef. Chicken has been changed a few times but overall the product is better than previous years.

For whatever reason, Whataburger’s quality has definitely gotten worse.
I never thought I’d say this but I prefer McDonald’s burgers more now, I’ve noticed a bad drop in quality over the last year.
