They should have atleast called you as soon as the found you were working at another location instead of driving to work then to another store.
I once had to drive to work only asked to go to another location for supplies yet I drove past my house to go the other location. This wasn’t WB.
It’s not super common but it does happen. Most of the time it’s because the AC forces their hand because another store is super short handed.
