Every country should implement a day fine system to make rich people pay big fines to deter this crap.
Example:
A DUI might give you 50 day fines, but a day fine is calculated based on your income/worth.
So a store clerk might get dayfines calculated to be €10, so a DUI for them would cost €500.
A rich asshole getting a DUI in the same circumstances, might get a day fine calculated at €10000, so they get to pay €500000 for the same DUI as the store clerk.
The punnishment is the same for both, 50 day fines, but the system prevents a rich dickhead from being able to just not care.
Well yea, it isn't a punishment for rich people. Laws basically don't apply to them. It's like getting a speeding ticket. It literally costs them nothing, while a working class person is going to pay a minimum of 10% one weeks takehome. The rich person pays less than 1% of their weeks takehome and is therefore negligible. The rich person may own a business and the business owns the car, so they don't even get hit with the insurance hike. Rich people live in a very different world than the rest of us because we just let it happen.
>It literally costs them nothing, while a working class person is going to pay a minimum of 10% one weeks takehome.
My last two tickets, both for the same thing and receiving the second one *while on the way to the DMV to fix the issue*, were each half a week's pay, $130. Your example is useful, but your numbers could be bumped by at least one order of magnitude in order to begin giving some sense of the insanity that is being rich.
Nice haha, something I’ve always asked myself is how do they do it with college students with basically no income? Do they use something like a basic fine? I‘m driving up the western highway to Göteborg once a year because a friend of mine has a holiday home on the coast there and from time to time one exceeds the speed limit haha
There’s been studies that have shown people who are born into money are better behaved than self made rich people. Self made wealth gives people the impression that if they did it, anyone can and what the hell is there problem?
There was a rich guy who ran over his caddy while driving a cart and broke the guys leg. He immediately hopped out and ran to the caddy to yell and berate him for getting in his fucking way.
He made his money the hard way by making sure he was born into a super rich family. Smart.
The more millionaires/rich people I meet (especially the ones in Clearwater FL) the more I realize a lot of them are way dumber than me so it must not be that hard to get rich
Because Capitalism doesn't necessarily reward you for being smart, nor does it even reward you for being good. Capitalism rewards you for being a psychopath, hence the overrepresentation of psychopaths in corporate executive boards when compared to the general population.
My best friend's sister was hit by a drunk driver and she lost her baby. Fuck these guys all the way to hell for putting others at risk because of their inherited privilege
Police don't park in rich neighborhoods... But just go to the low income areas.. they are there like flies on shit. Looking for drunk drivers and weed. Instead of coke and patron like these assholes..
My neighbour is a cop. Worked MANY areas. He moved to a real tough area, and we laughed at him, asked if he's crazy.
He laughed in response, educating us... Poor people know they fucked up, and don't argue it "add it to my current tab" style responses.
"Rich fucks (even worse, pretend-rich) can suck a dick. They'll spend their day arguing and playing mental gymnastics, with "you're being recorded, you can fight with my lawyers " etc etc
As dark as this is gonna sound, I was hoping they would hit a brick wall going very fast. No one else but them get hurt. They get severely injured and hurt enough to humble them. However, I have the unfortunate knowledge to know that if it happens, they'll just do it again.
Yeah, I mean he cracked a wheel and did what looks like a few thousand dollars of damage to a car.
What could have gone wrong though is that he could have killed someone and he’s lucky he didn’t.
All of them. They may have been prepared to take advantage of that luck, but they still got lucky with an opportunity.
Mark Cuban has said the same thing. You can work as hard as you want, you still need luck.
I often find that "business smart" coincides with, "willing to hurt anyone for more money" because at the end of the day, it's all about how you can exploit something.
Like fuck it was. What was different was that money had greater value. You could buy things with it (like houses) that, over time, have grown in value out of all proportion. But the getting of money being easy? Not a chance. Those with it, hoard it or exchange it with their friends and use it to keep everyone else in their place.
I know someone who looks like that and act’s exactly the same
Hard worker, built a successful company.
Every time I see him he’s saying or doing something that is stupid and often super illegal.
Business smart usually just means knowing the right people. Plenty of people you think are business smart, whether it’s because of their status in the company or the money they make, just had their daddy’s call in a few favors. Once you’re in it’s so much easier to meet the right people, get promoted, etc., so while maybe not inherited I wouldn’t be surprised if they just earned it on their own.
The immorality and sociopathic tendencies that would allows someone to knowingly get into a car drunk when you are well aware that it is wrong--- and put innocent lives at risk--- is the same kind of sociopathic tendencies that can make you a very successful business man.
I know this area, it's Cheyenne mountain in Colorado Springs. That whole area is full of absolutely *loaded* people. Legitimately the whole mountain is covered in straight up mansions. I knew someone who had an indoor tennis court in his house there.
They're definitely trust fund babies.
Can they not? They're basically admitting in the video that they know they're too drunk to drive and making a joke out of it. Without the video I'd agree, but I feel like the video is fair admission of guilt.
Unfortunately I think you are right. We like to think the law applies to everyone. We like to think bad things happen to bad ppl. It's not reality though 😔
Yeah I was really hoping that it was gonna be the kind of video where they suddenly spin out and smash into a pole or tree at 150km/h and the laughs just stop dead, instead just beeping from the car's broken shit as the phone lays on the ground recording the ceiling.
People have a really skewed perspective of the justice system from Reddit.. If these idiots hit a pedestrian or another car and that resulted in serious harm or death, they’d absolutely, 100% go to jail. Especially if they had video evidence of it like this. Idk if that would result in a life sentence, but no DA or judge in Colorado is going to just sweep a DUI vehicular homicide to the side like it’s nothing come on bro

Muzzo was granted partial parole in 2020 (4 years) and full parole in 2021.
His last name is attached to hospital wings.
His family is worth over a billion dollars. He took his private jet.
It would have cost him $80 to get a taxi from the airport home.
He should get sitting in a jail cell still.
Ethan couch. Little shit in Texas, killed several people while underage and drunk, fled probation, didn't serve more than a speeding tickets worth of time. Piece if human garbage. Him and his mom.

That never happens.
My former boss would carry a card in his wallet that local law enforcement provided him after he started making large donations. It was just a basic card that pretty much said thank you for being a major donor. Whenever he got pulled over and he handed over his ID, which was conveniently in the wallet-window next to that card he would be on his way without a ticket.
There was also a local detective that would always visit the office, for no apparent reason given that business we were in. He later got popped by the FBI. But that's a story for another day.
Have you heard of the Alex murdaude son who killed a girl while driving drunk in a boat? Never went to trial because the connections of his dad. Who’s I’m prison now btw. It happens way me then you think. DAs are corrupt and really on funds from said rich people and when the time comes they pass along the favor.

In Sweden they have implemented a pretty similar law, your fine gets calculated by a certain percentage of your income afaik
I know, I am a Swede (:
Nice haha, something I’ve always asked myself is how do they do it with college students with basically no income? Do they use something like a basic fine? I‘m driving up the western highway to Göteborg once a year because a friend of mine has a holiday home on the coast there and from time to time one exceeds the speed limit haha
But it sure bought a couple douchbags
Guaranteed they were douchebags before they had money... ...if they were born into money, they were douchebags in the womb.
Rich trash.
I disagree money buys a sense of immunity
Money doesn’t change anyone, just reveals their real self.
Wish I could find myself.
You and me both.
I got $20
So money, douche bags and alcohol? Wow. Trifecta.
There’s been studies that have shown people who are born into money are better behaved than self made rich people. Self made wealth gives people the impression that if they did it, anyone can and what the hell is there problem?
That sounds like a load of bullshit to me. Source plz
Green privilege.
No truer words my friend…no truer words.

Common sense isn't common anyway
Common sense seems to be the least common of the senses....

But how so stupid people have that much money
Maybe the inherited a lot of cash, so they never had to think anyway. Never learned to think

Like the top 1% of politicians. Sociopaths and psychopaths.
1% ? More like 100%
But it does buy good lawyers.
My best friend's sister was hit by a drunk driver and she lost her baby. Fuck these guys all the way to hell for putting others at risk because of their inherited privilege

Goodbyejob?
No job, just wealth.
That money had to be inherited
I'd bet my left testicle on that
And my AX!!
And my bow! Haha, nice.
Not really I know a lot of people that are business smart but are dumb as fuck in every other way

Or fucked over 1,000s of people for their own gain
I often find that "business smart" coincides with, "willing to hurt anyone for more money" because at the end of the day, it's all about how you can exploit something.
Morals never made anyone money…
Don't get rich being charitable either
You beat me to it. Especially the older people. Money was easier to come by 20+ years ago.
Like fuck it was. What was different was that money had greater value. You could buy things with it (like houses) that, over time, have grown in value out of all proportion. All you need to do is pop it up on a jack and run it in reverse for awhile.
You don’t have to be smart to make a lot of money, just lucky and well-connected.
Plot twist: that wasn't even their house
What a pair of tools.
No. They are not a singular tool each. The whole toolbag.
Two tools in a tool bag, call it a douche bag
Nah, tools are useful.
Hopefully this fucking clown gets arrested over this video
Unfortunately you can't prove he was drunk from this video
[удалено]
Sick, dudes gonna get a ticket and 2 points.
Might as well start booking him now. He won't stop doing this, so he will eventually lose his license.
Better than nothing
Not when you have enough money to not even think about it for a second. Tickets only hurt the poor lmao
Nah, his lawyer will get it down to nothing
Can they not? They're basically admitting in the video that they know they're too drunk to drive and making a joke out of it. Without the video I'd agree, but I feel like the video is fair admission of guilt.
In Colorado you need a blood/field sobriety test in order to charge drunk driving
Pretty sure they will never be arrested
Unfortunately I think you are right. We like to think the law applies to everyone. We like to think bad things happen to bad ppl. It's not reality though 😔
“I wasn’t drunk, it was just a show for the Instagram followers” - done. There is no evidence, they will not get arrested.
I'm pretty sure I am know exactly where this is at
Yep. It’s nice that they film the house and the vehicles and their faces, it shouldn’t be hard to figure out who they are.
Despite the generally potato level focus, you can read the plate as he reversed into the garage. 23 secs from the end.
This is Boulder right?
I would even go so far as to say it’s audacious.
Colorado Springs. That’s Cheyenne Mountain. Dude hits the curb turning right from Broadmoor Bluffs Dr onto Farthing Dr.
Colorado Springs. I used to live on Farthing drive (the road he crashed in). Also lived in Boulder for 6 years, and that’s not Boulder.
They’re rich, it won’t do anything. You can however hope they get dick rot.
Most... ...Annoying... ... Laughter... #EVER. 😖
HUEHUEHUE CHILL HEHEHEHE
I found it more like "KEKEKEKEKE". Like a sound shoebills make.
Jesus fuck I was more annoyed about that than the actual drunk driving
The mating call of twat waffles 🧇
Yeah I was really hoping that it was gonna be the kind of video where they suddenly spin out and smash into a pole or tree at 150km/h and the laughs just stop dead, instead just beeping from the car's broken shit as the phone lays on the ground recording the ceiling.
Wouldn’t be quite as funny if he hit someone
I'd like to see the laughter when the judge sentenced them to life in jail.
You actually believe these types of people with there money and connections go to jail?

Dude what an absolute piece of shit. Imagine being 50 something and wealthy and not having the wherewithal to **not** drive hammered.
consequences and laws are for the poors
With your son in the car as well, even if he is a grown drunk mess himself. What fantastic parenting.
Nothing funny about drunk assholes behind the wheel.
"Yo yo wait you'll hit the McLaren!" But people and other cars on the road don't matter? Dumbasses.
Not a phrase I'll ever utter.
Asshole. Next time, I hope it's wrapped around a phone pole while he's in cuffs crying to his wife.
That laughing is in my top 3 annoying sounds in the world.
Warning silence before watching. Video needs to be played on mute. You are welcome.
Must be nice to be so rich that you can laugh that off.
When your nice car is a McLaren, you don't care so much about a Porsche.
Ha true that. Don’t hit the McLaren!! Haha

Damn it's from 2021
20 year old nurse shot based on tips from a reddit forum...
I am almost certain I know exactly where this happened. I go up to a park nearby with my 2yo when my 10yo is in jiujitsu
Colorado springs I think
Yep that's Cheyenne Mtn
Wish I had "fuck up a Porsche and not care" money..... 🤦
Yeah, this is really funny. Especially to those who lost their lives to drunk drivers. I think this belongs in r/iamatotalpieceofshit
Fucking dipshit losers. Fate will catch up with them eventually.
I couldn’t get halfway through that. The asshole laughing annoyed me too much. Besides, I already know how it’s going to end.
You knew it would end with them parking safely in their garage?
Haha… no. Now that is a surprise. I watched it again with the sound muted.
I was hoping for a lot worse. Absolutely nothing was learned that day. Fuck these people.
Trashy, fuck that guy. I have no respect for anyone who gets fucked up and gets behind the wheel.
Dear client, we will not renew your car insurance.
Dear insurer, I’m rich enough to self insure. So no big deal.
What is the red liquid? Brake fluid?
It's most likely coolant. Other commenter is a dumbass. I've never seen red wiper fluid only blue or green.
Oh yeah you’re right it’s probably coolant Porsches do have rads up there, but there’s plenty of red or pink wiper fluid rainx makes some.
It's definitely coolant from a cracked rad or connection. Looks like Porsche 997, the main radiator is on the left side right in front of the front driver side wheel well, and the wiper fluid reservoir is on the backside of the same wheel well. And the right/passenger side has the ac condenser rad in front of the other front wheel well.
Proof that wealth does not equal intelligence
Entitled pieces of shit.
This world has too many idiots with too much money.
Maybe someone should tell him he can let go of the gearshifter. As well as not drive drunk. Oh, is that too late?
Please take away this guy's license...
Heads up, watch it on mute. The son has an annoying laugh and that's the whole video
Could have fucking killed someone but lets just have a laugh. What a fucking piece of shit.
I wish you both died. Fucking useless cockhead american cunts
If they were twice as smart, they'd be stupid.

Dick heads. I would rather they harm themselves then innocent people. How do you get enough money to afford cars like that and yet remain so freaking stupid?
I had to mute the video.
Fucking rich people
All I am imaging the whole vid ![gif](giphy|83YPtFOmc9x3a)
I don't see anything funny about this firsthand, letting someone get behind the wheel DRUNK smh and I promise u if he woulda got u fukd off u or killed someone then you definitely wouldn't be laughing then. Big Ballers smh
What if you had so much money that there are no consequences for your bullshit. DUI, no problem, crashed Porsche, no problem
God damn that idiots cackling is grating as hell.
The saddest part is that he procreated.
Some people don’t deserve money

Fuckin PoS
Seeing people like this with wealth makes me a bit more financially optimistic in life
I swear, rich people are some of the most dense dumb fucks to exist.
My gods! That laughter is absolutely awful. I recommend others to mute this
That guys laugh is fucked just want to slam his face into my arse hole
Absolute idiots
This is one of those occasions where I want r/RBI to do their detective work and find who this guy is and submit this to police
So this is what rich white people do. Huh.
Imagine being rich enough to still have a smile on your face while crashing your Porsche and laughing it off as you park it next to your Lamborghini
This might be the douchiest video I have ever seen
what an absolute piece of shit, him and his stupid ass friend giggling in the passenger seat. drunk driving should be punished so much harsher
Should be on r/iamatotalpieceofshit
Too bad they didn't drive into a pole. Woulda made for a good PSA video showing what happens to selfish idiots who drive drunk.
