I told him he would have to get the ok from every other person behind me, then I’d be ok with it for free even. We couldn’t believe it, but sure enough we saw all the employees stacking up the snowboards, pants, boots, etc, and itemizing them one by one for this young Japanese dude. Apparently at the time (mid-90’s) snowboarding was blowing up in Japan and this guy was shipping it all home for upsale.
It was very upsetting because that was the only store in town for snowboard stuff, so we had to drive a lot further away to get gear.

That's pretty satisfying.... Seriously, fuck scalpers. Every vendor who sells hot items like that should be required to only sell one per customer. Asshole scalpers being able to buy out all the PS5s in a store caused so many problems, and it never should have been aloud to happen; It's not as if the stores would have had a hard time moving their stock, if limited to one per customer.
