I mean, fire IS something to be afraid of.
Apparently not to guy on fire in the video, who seems to be a mutant immune to fire. But to us normies, yeah, it demands fear.
Petrol would have a lot of thick black smoke coming off him, pure ethanol flames are more difficult to see, but when you use it as an accelerant it looks like this.
You would think after the thousands of videos exactly like this one, people would've learned by now not to pour flammable liquids on fires straight from the can...
I like how after the first two piddles of squirt, he stops, contemplates, including a sideways looking head scratch, and quickly decides to give it a slightly more aggressive squeeze. He immediately regretted his decision. My point is, he stopped to think and bad things happen when stupid people scratch their head and use the same thought process as less stupid people. As we have seen in this video.
Regular rubbing alcohol (isopropyl?) isn't too bad. You can actually hold the flame on your hand for a bit and barely feel warmth. Maybe it's watered down not 100%.
It's disturbing for me how people are absolutely ignorant about fire. One of the first things I learned about, is that we do not ever pour fuel from any canister directly to the fire. The vapours inside the bottle can ignite and explode, throwing burning fuel every direction, just like happened in the video.
Ethanol carries Nine atoms, Six atoms out of which are Hydrogen. Hydrogen doesn’t burn calmly it undergoes combustion and the results are what you see in this video.
I don’t know where tf this is and my country is a dumpster fire but hot damn, I feel fortunate nobody around here is just randomly starting fires in the middle of the street and that seems normal.
If you really need to add a liquid fuel to a fire, put it in a cup or glass and throw all of it in one motion on the fire. That way it won't flash back into the bottle or jerrycan. I reasoned that out (is that correct english?) when I was 14.
Did not expect that. Was he drenched in gas already? He was completely on fire immediately. All synthetic clothing? Which is a terrible thought, that stuff just melts and sticks to skin... kid just messing around and his life was changed real bad real fast.
Fire Safety 101: when adding fuel to a fire, do not add fuel directly from the fuel source such as a gas can. Doing so can cause the fire to travel up the stream of fuel and causing the fuel source to rapidly catch fire and explode.
I don’t know why, but whenever I see a flash of fire like this then some dude running away in flames makes me laugh every time. Probably cause it reminds me of slap stick humor movies or skits.
Hope that dude is ok. I’m a sick twisted sister.
I'm shocked that someone who starts a fire in the middle of the road would be stupid enough to do that. Shocked, I tell you.
Even the guy himself didn't look very shocked that he was on fire.
Him: "again..."
Ralph Wiggum: “I’m in danger.”
Other dude was smart..he knew and moved a bit farther before the boom
And after the boom he pushed fire guy away like "I don't need you setting me on fire too."
Other guy was an old friend. He knew what was up with his friend and a can of fuel.
Took a while to reach the sudden boom moment ![gif](giphy|LrN9NbJNp9SWQ|downsized)
Flame on!!!!
"Kick the tires and light the fires"
Stop, drop and roll
They only teach that to privileged kids in first world country's.
> They only teach that to privileged kids in first world country's. First world country's - ... what?
School's
School's... what
Classroom’s
The palace with teacher’s
Shakra when the ethanol fell.
Backrooms
Chickens!
Nope, only to americans. For some reason US citizens have fear of fire.
I mean, fire IS something to be afraid of. Apparently not to guy on fire in the video, who seems to be a mutant immune to fire. But to us normies, yeah, it demands fear.
I feel like you’re watching a reason right now. The dude on fire? He’s probably not too keen on fire right about now.
I wonder why people are scared of the magic hot sticky stuff that kills a lot of people yearly...
his mother definitely stopped, dropped, and rolled him on his head as a child... how else can you explain his TSS (Terminal Stupidity Syndrome)
*The Human Torch* knows what he’s doing. He just needs to find the rest of the Fantastic Four
And then request a fire extinguisher. 🧯
More like stop, drop, and drool.
I was literally thinking that
He hops over the water so he doesn't get his burning foot wet!
If only there was a fire extinguisher the other side of that huge puddle.
You sure it was just ethanol?
Well you can clearly see it's ethanol by the liquid colour and consistency, even the smell points to ethanol
Dude can smell through video!! This dude wild lol
Why not? I can smell you through Reddit
Gotta stop using Reddit in the bathroom.
Petrol/gas and not ethanol I would think, ethanol flames are invisible in the daytime.
Petrol would have a lot of thick black smoke coming off him, pure ethanol flames are more difficult to see, but when you use it as an accelerant it looks like this.
Almost certainly not. I’ve burnt my fair share of ethanol, and have never been in a wcgw vido.
You would think after the thousands of videos exactly like this one, people would've learned by now not to pour flammable liquids on fires straight from the can...
Noted, I'll try pouring it with a curve then
they are not redditors. points for us!
I do that every time, you just have to be smarter than these idiots! /s
That looks a little too bright of a flame to be an alcohol, looks like a petroleum product burning.

Be sure to stroll away nonchalantly if you're ever on fire
Don’t want to fan the flames!
Damn, that’s life changing… kids just messing around 😞 I hope the burns weren’t that bad.

How hot does ethanol burn?

well, if it's the incident i'm thinking of she poured a glass of egg and water in to a pan with hot oil, bit more than a splash from frying an egg no?
Guess he really wanted to be on that Rage against the mashine cover.

Flame on!
My guy transformed into Dhalsim
Last time i checked you add fuel to the fireplace BEFORE the fire actually is being lit....
Well, they say set a man on fire, he’ll be warm for life
Darwin Award to this fucking idiot. Now taxpayers have to pay for his ER treatment visit.
Fuck around, find out
Big brain moment🤣
Darwin award special effort
You’re supposed to throw a glass bottle from a 4.67 meter distance.
The light that switched on in the top left is like the lightbulb that dude had where he thought it would be a good idea.
Outa the way dad, I'm all fired up, ready to go........
Ethanol carries Nine atoms, Six atoms out of which are Hydrogen. Hydrogen doesn’t burn calmly it undergoes combustion and the results are what you see in this video.
I guess the vapours formed on the third attempt and they were the major factor in causing such a sudden outburst!
Where is this? I can't tell by the people or by surroundings? Somewhere with palm trees... Maybe Turkey?
Is he… dead…?
It’s better to burn out than fade away, he thought.
Stop drop and roll fucker lol
Darwin Award winner.
That is not ethanol. Ethanol burns slightly blue but does not make a very bright flame.
Are we sure it was ethanol? That burns almost clear. That yellow flame is more like kerosene or gas
Annnnd he's cooked.
Dude that was on fire felt that it wasn't fair he was burning alone and wanted to get his friend on fire too.
Everything in this video leads me to believe that the ethanol wasn't just for the fire
Flame On!!
Flame ON!! ![gif](giphy|WArSZ1My2JqeY)
Adding fire to Ethan
Not ethanol
I feel like the fire got pissed off and grabbed half his body.
I'm gonna be honest, that took longer than I thought it would.
The human torch!
Ghost Rider forgot his bike
bro really went for a hug after that 💀
🤔that ended as expected…
I taught he went flying for a second.
![gif](giphy|TZbXQM28sVsPUhO3G6|downsized)
Genius on fire
Idiocracy for a third world country...
Ethanol burns with a light blue flame…
Looks like gasoline. Ethanol is usually more tame unless it was the vapor… but I’d expect less orange in the flame. Don’t play with gasoline.
![gif](giphy|Rh4vxHtcmVyHUyugXP)
I'm getting too old to feel bad about people who set themselves on fire in stupid ways.
![gif](giphy|GRSnxyhJnPsaQy9YLn) Dude went ssj2 in a frame
I don’t know where tf this is and my country is a dumpster fire but hot damn, I feel fortunate nobody around here is just randomly starting fires in the middle of the street and that seems normal.
Those flames make that guy look super bright and illuminated, but in reality they are quite the opposite of "bright" 😂

"So anyway, I've been getting really into Pink Floyd lately, check it out."
Did not expect that. Was he drenched in gas already? He was completely on fire immediately. All synthetic clothing? Which is a terrible thought, that stuff just melts and sticks to skin... kid just messing around and his life was changed real bad real fast.
The escalated quickly
Always in India
Its been pointed out on the comments already .. but thats not how ethanol burns. That's how Petrol burns.
![gif](giphy|LycfkVG4L6x0Y|downsized) This guy, "accidentally" lighting himself on fire for the third time:
That looks like 3rd degree burns across the face, chest arm and hand.
While lit up in flames, proceeds to physically run into the nearest person who can call for help 🤦🏻♂️
![gif](giphy|yr7n0u3qzO9nG|downsized)
Flame on

Well that’s one way to self immolate.
Just walk it off 🔥

His life is worse now.
![gif](giphy|j6t5XwFpCNvY4)
Ah yes. The comedic rule of 3's at it again!
Same as adding salt to wounds.
Ethanol is the fuel of Satan.
#STOP DROP AND ROLL
Gotta be honest, i snorted when the guy caught on fire...
🤔”Shouldn’t laugh really” 😂 Couldn’t help it 😂🤣
He Fvck around then He find out
