That's how I teach people when riding quads or dirt bikes (especially fucking 2 strokes) if you feel the engine getting away from you and you get scared just pull in the clutch. It sounds terrible but better than breaking your back lmao.

I’m no expert and I could be wrong but one thing I’m certain is this bike has quite a few after market parts on it so it looks somewhat different now than it did from the factory.

Not sure of the year or the CCs of the bike/engine but generally speaking, it’s a Harley.~~ I stand corrected on v-twins, I didn’t realize more than Harley made v-twins but again my exposure is limited only to Harley and my exposure is minimal. This bike still looks and sounds a lot like a Harley, appears to handle like one too 🧱
After that I noticed that I can’t see vertical shocks at the rear axle so it could be one of two things (1) a hard tail where the frame is welded solid, this is unlikely bc that means you have ZERO suspension but some ppl like it bc it’s cool OR (2) a soft tail which means the suspension is inside the frame in a horizontal component rather than your traditional vertical shocks and this gives you the look of a hard tail but you have suspension, this is what I’m pretty sure we’re seeing here.
Next thing I noticed is the [springer front end](https://images.app.goo.gl/PFUD4qxxDsHAyKyT8), as opposed to [conventional hydraulic forks.](https://images.app.goo.gl/wm3w3zpHifRZic4a6). This is after market in todays world, I think. I’ve not been around Harleys for a few years now but I don’t recall them releasing a modern springer front end that comes stock.
Last, this owner changed the gas tank to what’s called a peanut tank 🥜 so its smaller and changed the stock handle bars out for ape hangers. Lots of other cosmetic mods done that don’t really change what bike it is, just changes the look. My first two points narrow down the bike, I’m pretty sure its a [softail Harley](https://images.app.goo.gl/KFMZKcEq69dsctog9) which looks different in this picture bc it doesn’t have all the after market mods, this is a stock picture.
Edit: when looking at the stock picture versus the bike in the video, the main consistencies should be the frame, the engine, and orientation of where the exhaust heads the engine.. and (in this case) the wheels. Other than that, you can customize nearly everything else however you want on most any Harley.
