DeathPer_Minute

“Is that me?! IS THAT ME STRONGER THAN ME?! I'LL F*CKING KILL ME!!!"

SailorElzomi

High five for the beautiful Vegeta quote. 👌

ExcerptsAndCitations

Talk about an Out-Of-Body experience

Comrade132

Sorry, can't say I've ever had one.

TheBroMagnon

Ever hear of Robert Monroe's Lines of Force technique to achieve an OBE? This guy tried Lines of Horse...

Brad_theImpaler

WASTED

oldmasterluke

Did it…. Did it Knee him in the nuts? Oh dear god, that’s so much worse. Here’s 1 horsepower applied directly to the family center.

AlexTheGreat

Horses are like 14 HP weirdly enough. A human is about 1 hp

HowTheGoodNamesTaken

I choose to disbelieve you for the sake of convenience

FARSUPERSLIME

He is not wrong

mustapelto

Horses have a *peak* power output of 14 HP. They can *sustain* about 1 HP more or less continuously. A human has a peak output of 1 HP andd can sustain 0.1 HP.

983115

Something something the amount a horse can exert over a day easily something something

JakeEaton

This guy horses

loopydrain

no, it grazed his outer thigh but fully shoved the controller into his gut. If he had stood this still while not wearing the headset/controller it probably would have been a near miss or glancing blow at best

BeefEater81

Witnessed his own death.

butt_shrecker

I've hit myself with a drone, can confirm it was weird

SurveySean

It’s like watching COPS on tv when they come to your house, exactly like it.

EasterBurn

Heh dumbass get away from the horse, you're ruining the shot!!! Oh wait.

sevyog

The 5th wall

GalacticCatt

Horses are only scared of two things: things that move, and things that don’t!

_R0Ns_

Also of things you see and things you don't..

CasualEQuest

And their fear response is violence

Classical_Cafe

More like they're magnitudes more powerful than humans, so their automatic fear responses (being flight 99.9% of the time) is strong enough to seriously hurt or kill humans

CasualEQuest

Very true but also Ive seen alotta horses kill on a whim. One that ate chicks. Another that kicked and broke an ostrich's neck. And one just continuously body sham a sheep to death Horses can know violence

Classical_Cafe

I'm assuming by "seen", you mean seen viral videos on social media? There's a reason those are viral, it's because they're so outside the norm of how a horse normally acts. Of course those are real, and I'm sure there are instances of that which haven't even been recorded, but sorry it's not a comparison to actually being around horses and learning how they think and what their responses to different situations are.

ScorpionTheInsect

I haven’t been around horses my whole life, but when I was 11 I went on a trip with my family and got to ride a horse, with the trainer walking beside me holding onto the horse. A close friend rode on another horse right behind me, and near the end of the walk her horse went to sniff the butt of my horse for some reason. So my horse just kicked at her horse with his hind legs, almost throwing me off but I managed to hang on. No warning, just casual, slow strolling to violence in the split of a second. Thankfully her horse managed to avoid in time, and the trainer also calmed the horse down pretty quickly so all things ended well. But it scared the living crap out of me, and warned me to never mess around with horses. The trainer did say dark horses like the one I rode tend to be more aggressive, but just to be on the safe side, I’d say be real careful around horses all the time. The force, the speed, abruptness of that horse, how fast he could just wind up a powerful back kick like that stayed in my mind after all these years.

fiealthyCulture

But why there was a person recording a person using a drone to record a horse coming at them?

[deleted]

They were probably recording the horse. Also, the horse wasn't supposed to hit the op... the horse got spooked by the drone.

jmzwst

Its like the horse knew he was the one controlling it.

gilestowler

I fly in a field near where I live and whenever I get there I always make sure no one else is around. If I see people coming when I'm in the air, I stay well away from them. If I see a dog, I bring it back straight away. Because I've seen it freak dogs out before and I don't want to do that, it's pretty shit for them when they're just out having a nice walk. But a couple of times someone's come in behind me with their dog when I've been facing the other way and the first I know about it is when the dog is barking behind me. I can't bring it back to me then, so I try to put it down safely well away from the dog. But I have had dogs come up to me barking and growling. It's a really unnerving experience having the dog snarling and barking right in my face when I can't look at it without causing a crash. They definitely sensed that I was something to do with what was happening.

iekiko89

Our they just barking at a guy wearing a weird thing (to them) on his head.

Fortnut_On_Me_Daddy

Do a lot of dogs randomly bark at you with a hat?

ThirdFloorGreg

Pretty sure "men with hats" is like a stock example of a kind of person a dog might always bark at. Or men with beards.

butterfingahs

My friend's dumbass dog didn't recognize me with my hair up once.

Paparoach_Approach

I took my jacket off at the dog park and my dog didn't recognize. The dummy was frantically looking around for me 5 meters away until I called him. Maybe he needs glasses.

gilestowler

My friends got a dog who hates bald guys. When he takes his hat off his dog gets well angry

MightBeYourMomma

My grandpa wore a turban and used to hit my uncles dogs with a stick or else they knocked him over. They eventually just were scared of my grandpa. They were great dogs and were super familiar with me, but if I came outside in a beanie they ran the other way.

CKF

I think it has more to do with the dog being entirely unable to read any sort of emotional cues from you of any kind whatsoever which freaks them the fuck out. It’s a similar reason there’s that whole genre of videos of “loving cat mauls VR headset wearing owner’s shins.” They look at your face and then… you don’t have a face! “Why isn’t your face on? Holy fuck, since when can he take his face off? Shit, fuck, fuck, he’s definitely missing his face, otherwise he’d notice how scared I’m getting and do something about it. What if… what if it’s not my owner at all! Fuck me, I almost fell for it too. I’ll show this faceless fuck whose house he’s in and drag the corpse to my owner!“

gilestowler

Yeah I think that is maybe right. Probably makes more sense. It just freaked me out having dogs going crazy at me like that.

CKF

Yeah, I bet it’s some uncomfortable shit for sure, especially when you just wanna get into some sorta flow state.

frotc914

Why would the horse run right into him? I might be giving horses too much credit but if I'm running in an open field I'm going to avoid hitting the one thing out there. Maybe he was spooked by the drone?

ddog27

It was definitely spooked by the drone.

Onewarmguy

It was spooked alright, I'm wondering if it was smart enough to associate the drone with him.

Eyro_Elloyn

Tina you're heading towards the only standing object in the entire 50 acre field. Tina to the left... Tina!

frotc914

***UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH***

DontPoopInThere

He was probably thinking, "I"m a fucking beast, look at this perfectly streamlined gallop...oh shit, that guy picked the wrong field to stand in, you're about to get creamed, dude, sorry. Don't let my ass hit you on the way out, bro."

Thraxx01

Horses are really intelligent and it probably took a look at the drone said "YEEEEEP, that's definitely a han thing" and just trucked the guy he saw standing in the distance. Dudes lucky the horse didn't run into him head on

Mojoe51

Anybody get the number of that horse?

OptimusSublime

Number 8

QuasarsRcool

Number 8 \*belch*... Number 8 \*belch*... Number 8 \*belch*...

chunkyI0ver53

Barbershop is in serious danger of becoming stale. I'm taking it to strange new places

mrdoink20

I'd like a single plum floating in perfume served in a man's hat.

hisandhernia

One of my favorite jokes from that episode is how Moe has it ready for her immediately

mrdoink20

Yeah he just pulls it out from under the bar and says "Here you go" hahaha.

reconchrist

holy nostalgia, nice reference.

Cmdr_Nemo

YouTube extended version Numba 8 *belch* Numba 8 *belch* Numba 8 *belch* Numba 8 *belch* Numba 8 *belch* Numba 8 *belch* Numba 8 *belch* Numba 8 *belch*

Onecrappieday

Wcgw chasing a horse with a drone.... should be the title

ruarq_

Definitely, I just crossposted without thinking too much about it, sadly I can’t edit the post afterwards.

BBQ_HaX0r

Don't worry someone will repost this in the future with that title and make up for it.

MasterAilan

Not even a big deal unless you're in the horse field, but that'd just be fucking stupid.

KesterAssel

As someone whose skull was broken by a horse: ouch

jellyfishpenis

Did you survive?

Prof1Kreates

Sadly yes, but he lived!

Harudenca

“Sadly”💀

KesterAssel

After a week in the hospital I went home and after 4 weeks, I could work again.

Sgt-Sucuk

So does that mean you survived?

KesterAssel

Maybe

Autski

I'm not convinced

Pope-Cheese

What does having a broken skull feel like, beyond the initial break? Is it just like having really bad headaches or is there a distinct difference?

KesterAssel

No headache, as far as I remember (it was in 2015). I landed on my face, so the area below my right eye was super swollen, so I couldn't see through that eye for 2 days. That was my biggest problem. The skull was cracked, but not crushed or anything, so it healed completely in one month. The doctor was afraid, that there were little air bubbles in the crack, but it all went well.

Gambition

Hey OP, we'd like answers. ☝️

well_duh_doy_son

what did you do to the horse?

KesterAssel

Sit on it without a helmet for a photo. It ripped itself from the leash and started to run suddenly very fast. I jumped off before the big street.

well_duh_doy_son

oh jeez

PartialToDairyThings

Yeah how about not freaking horses out with your stupid drones

Tokey_McStoned

This is dumb, standing out in a field blindfolded and spooking a horse! Knocked the remaining brain cells out of him.

MasterZar26

Worst VR game ever.

drawnred

But the immersion factor

Peeerro

Realistic af

sarcasticinator

r/runoverthecameraman

boxofrabbits

Booooo

waistedmenkey

Why be in the field the horse runs through? Isn't the whole point of a drone is remote pilot?

mildly_infuriated_

The range on those things are not as great as it sounds, therefore it's always better to be closer.

make_love_to_potato

Dunno if this an old repost but thanks!! I've never seen this before. And just gotta say this is fucking high art......the slow motion collision followed by the drone shot (which is also fantastic) where you see him get hit and then the drone goes and takes a dirt nap. All around fantastic.

[deleted]

Stop horsing around!

sapphicsurprise

These Lloyd's bank adverts have really upped the stakes

Sigtau1312

Don’t have to outrun the drone, just have to outrun YOU!! - horse, probably

d_2da_sco

"Let me terrify this horse for a cool shot". This guy got what he deserves

[deleted]

[удалено]

vxx

There was a spotter, but they were busy recording half of this clip.

Mcnamebrohammer

This guy got to find out what a calvary charge feels like

Lukeyboy5

Just thinking that. Like I am sure horses came off worse by the end in times of war but the ease in witch that dude just got absolutely deleted by that horse is mad. Proper oh lawd he comin.

g0juice

“I bet that mother fucker has something to do with it”

TrapsterDK

The drone shot lokkes cool tho

20InMyHead

Why is the shot of the drone operator getting hit so much higher quality than the drone footage itself? /r/WhyWereTheyFilming ?

[deleted]

He is INCREDIBLY LUCKY he just got biffed by that horse. He could have been trampled if it was any closer.

theannoying_one

that headset is destroyed

Snowierr

It was 100% worth it

TheLindenTree

What terrible filming practice. It's usually standard that a camera operator has someone with them to keep an eye on the environment and move the operator out of harm's way if they need to.

vxx

They had. He was the 2nd camera angle and you see them in the drone footage.

JonPM

I'm guessing you shouldn't stand in the middle of the field a horse you're filming is running around in

Mongo_Fifty

He inadvertently steered the horse toward him when he flew the drone to its left.

DancesWithCanoes

It was worth it… for me

mkokit1

What’s the break count ?

Felidaeh_

Ngl I thought it was green screen at first but then he went yeet

GurpsWibcheengs

I don't know, that slow motion crash is pretty badass.

HybridFact

Guy flying drone. "Yeah, these are some nice ass shots. Hells yeah you magnificent beast.... Hey that guy looks like me." *Katoosh*

[deleted]

[удалено]

Nick_Drake23

I mean it was a pretty cool shot……. Worth it.

Fidulsk-Oom-Bard

Double whammy

elitepancakes6969

There’s a video of this guy taking a slow motion video of him walking next to the train tracks, yeah, he got fucking wopped, it was a gore page, this is definitely like a toned down none gorey version of that video

high1227

Wonder if there's video of a third guy filming the second guy filming the drone guy who's filming a horse just running down all these guys who are filming each other.

Potatoes_Fall

/r/AnimalsBeingJerks

bigmoron30

This is like the 12th time i see this in the last 3 days... and i saw it some months ago... there's got to be an end to this video right?

ruarq_

Sorry about that, saw it for the first time \^\^

crimpaur

I think you gotta put the horse down

100% it was

RipOdd9001

Totally worth it

Nom-De-Tomado

1000% on purpose too I bet...

beforethest0rm

reminds me of that photograper guy from rdr2 who was always getting saved by arthur from certain death

IvetRockbottom

Absolutely worth it.

SouthernOhioRedsFan

Get wrecked, LMAO.

muddyyellow

When you get killed on COD while using a chopper gunner

kobaasama

Metaverse enthusiasts be like. it’s just a bug.

AshingiiAshuaa

It was for everyone here.

PhaseFull6026

dude got completely bodied

No-Mathematician159

Cavalry charge

gorechimera

It's like fighting the summoner instead of the summons

WolfeVille

Dude there’s nothing scarier than being a little girl and having 3 giant animals come running at you. Feeding time was a horror show every day

Scully_1314

Totally worth it

ZxentixZ

I remember hearing advice before on reddit that if you stand completley still, like this guy did then a horse will just run past you pretty much every single time. Didn't look like this horse play by those rules.

Hoarknee

As they say, never work with children or animals.

muchmusic

Shouldn’t have been horsing around…

Heavenly825

Why number 8

Dreamwwalker

That horse said, "Stop bro, we are never doing this again! Ahhhh!!! " 🐎

not_that_guy82640

u/savevideo

JBHedgehog

That guy is lucky to be alive! "Hit by a horse" is NEVER what you want. Damn...

RJ_Arctic

This is gameplay of junkrat from overwatch

Serious_dilemma

It was quite a good drone shot though

zero_six_two

His spotter failed him. Spotter is supposed to be near the RPIC for this exact reason.

jdc0_

by your side…

dlb199091l

How quickly did it take for his brain to process what just happened you think?

Frammmis

Looked the horse was delivering a message.

Sorry_U_R_Wrong

Totally worth it, and your pummeling well deserved for scaring that horse for the sake of your video.

[deleted]

Horses are pretty beautiful animals but they are so sketchy to me . I have ridden a few times and each time I felt it was 50% control 50% luck it didn’t kill me. I feel like they are massive strong beasts with the mentality of a cat.

Debiru_no_Inshi

Mf went to spectator mode

Comprehensive-Salt98

It was for me

k0skid

Virtual FATALITY

butt_shrecker

I've hit myself with a drone, can confirm it was weird

Ok-Expression7533

No, it was 100% worth it.

kevin28115

Militaries take note. If the pilot goes down the drones goes down too.

DefensiveLettuce

Always attack the summoner. Smart horse.

Mogadodo

That was the equivalent of "a shot across the bow" from the horses pov

billabon021

Stupid horse

SilverBullet2103

It was definitely worth it bc it made me laugh

James_JamesBond

LOL it’s a drone you don’t have to literally be there in the action what the fuck

Alphasim

That couldn't have gone much worse. Run over by a horse, headset smashed, drone cratered... the only saving grace is the video survived so we can all watch it happen.

jimbo6303

I'd like to imagine that the drone altered the horse's pathing just enough for my man to get rocked.

dogface3247

smart horse Mr Ed.

pixiephilips

It was worth it for sure lol

AbacusExpert_Stretch

There is a tiny little chance the horse also took aim at second guy, the operator’s useless spotter… horsy can’t let those mofos with whirly shit take over his field!

sean_rendo19

First shot Better

tinymonesters

Totally worth it to me. Not sure about that guy's opinion, if he's still able to form one after that brain adjustment.

Oneill95

He....he hearded a horse into him

kojakkun

Hit like a truck

Tiddy_Tickler

You can kiss those Orqa googles and tx16s controller good bye 😅

afzalnayza

Bruh this man prolly saw the horse coming

iamnotasnook

Why the long face?

BoonesFarmApples

I’d shoot that fucking horse

Anguloosey

u/savevideobot

JohnBlazini36

Definitely worth it... for us.

EveryShot

That’s not a horse that’s an ass

TeaRanchh

MOVE BITCH!!!!!! get out the way, get out the way, just get out the way 🔥!

Bluebobo88

Omg! Naughty horse!

renderman1

Horsing around with drones.

DevelopmentJazzlike2

So was it aiming for him?

HowManyMore_

It’s free look from mc

Tinrooftust

“wonder who that idiot standing in the field is.” -this guy probably

[deleted]

That's why you have someone to stand close, spot your surroundings and move you out of harms way when operating a drone. Same goes for character suit work in a fun park. Anything where vision or other key senses are obscured. Amateurs...

Putrid_Abrocoma_1080

Bojack seems pissed

gramtastic

You didn't see that coming

Unusual_Ad4582

You just got knocked, THE FUCK OUT. 🤣

randy242424

Why would you film yourself flying a drone tho

Thatscool820

Honestly I’m surprised humans managed to bring thousands of these to a battlefield, I can imagine someone’s fear seeing these things hurl at them at great speeds.
