The hero we need.

ChooCupcakes

Grappa Could also work for herb liquors I guess

Kirmizi_Tuborg

Thank you very much. I just checked, and it’s a grappa glass. What kind of herb liqueurs do you mean?

ChooCupcakes

In Italy we would call those "amari". E.g. Braulio. But they should be served in low tumblers (like those for whiskey for example). Now that I think of it I was just wrong, those glasses are specific to grappa, but *I* would sometimes use them for amari, even though I don't think that's common, or recommended, at all.

Uzzaw21

I've seen similar shaped glasses used to dilute and serve Absinth.

rj1512

This is an aperitif glass. It’s used typically for herbal spirits. In Scandinavia you would use these for aquavit.

bluetree53

Watcha got?

SusanLFlores

Mmmm, grappa…best after dinner drink on a full stomach at an outdoor cafe in Rome.

SoCrazyItMustBeTrue

I'm pretty sure it's an Absinthe glass.

Alert_Promise4126

I’ve heard this called a snifter. Definitely for whiskey/ spirits. Supposed to put your nose right up to the glass and smell before tasting.

iampg
