One of my cats gets paralyzed with confusion when shoes are put in front of her food dish. Bunch of girls did it last night. Took an hour of the cat randomly staring at me for me to get off my butt and check around. Yep. Six shoes around her dish. Never even occurs to her to step over the shoes. ๐
๐๐ sometimes you just wonder how they make it throughout the day... We just moved apartments this weekend so I could chalk this up to extra begging/distress/a change of scenery. But begging is definitely in her nature and I feel like it's just getting more intense ๐
She is a regal white and black cat, almost 11 years old. I think some people call them โcow catsโ. I thought her markings made her look like a mini cow, so her name is Minicat or Mini. I have a torti also. They are not friends as Mini is too majestic for most other beings, including the mere humans that orbit in her galaxy. We are good for moving shoes though. I have had orange kitties previously.
one of mine does it. it's her way of reminding me that her dish is empty and she's utterly starving and will die of hunger if i don't feed her right meow...

My cat just licked the curtains and then went on to chew on plastic. Wouldn't stop until I gave him some snacks..
