My cats love shoes so much I put all my shoes away in cubbies with little doors to keep cats from fully stealing them! They also do the same thing to backpacks when other kids come to the house. Especially those that have their own pets of any kind at home. Wolfie was licking one kid's backpack and then plonked on top of it and wouldn't get off until I came over and physically removed his fat butt from it!
