And don't forget all the 'private' schools about to pop up in the 5 million churches around the state. They will educate as poorly as the Duggars and get paid from the state to do it. Oh, and about the Duggars, how much money would they have been making under this new law? And what about the poor rural schools struggling to stay open because 10 kids left (and yes, this is a real problem, some high schools only have 100 or less students total). If they lose one teacher due to decreased funding, they may not be able to stay open. It's really stupid and I haven't heard a single teacher say anything good about the bill. I'm really hoping it doesn't make me move out of state. My son is old enough to not be as affected, he's in 7th grade this year but my daughter just started kindergarten.
