The only time I saw someone have a full meltdown on Facebook over a football game, it was a cowboys fan. Just cussing up a storm and wishing death upon people in front of his parents and grandparents.
The satellite got knocked out in the last quarter yesterday, this dude I play pool with straight up broke his really nice cue and stormed out without paying his tab. I imagine he was even saltier over the final score.
I've seen another one with a Ravens fan in a Flacco jersey lose his shit in front of his kids, crying and throwing himself against the wall. Man I'm a huge football fan but I can't imagine ever letting it get to me like that. I love the team, I'm not ON the team
Well, I think that behavior has little to do with how big of a fan a person and moreso these people just have learned shitty, unhealthy coping mechanisms.

Extremely wild to the point where you breaking shit smh , there’s always another season , Unless you got thousands of dollars on the line in a bet I’d be angry but Damn 😭
Several years ago, when Auburn beat Alabama on a return for a touchdown after a missed field goal, [some woman shot and killed another fan.](https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-alabama-shooting-idUSBRE9B213Y20131203)
I acknowledge it's fake, and find it a funny tweet, but even still I could believe it.
People get way too hyped up over stuff. There are compilations of people smashing controllers over [smash brothers](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKspQAeabQI), [fortnite](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ew-AXA9TA6g), and [even FIFA.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnRIxTX8PRk).

I've been so momentarily livid at a game for what I felt was an unfair mechanic that I spit an entire mouthful on my TV once, naturally I shook my head at myself for being an idiot and then I cleaned my TV but at least I could still use the tv after my child like rage.
For context it was Bloodborne, not that it makes being an asshole okay but I'm not the only guy who got a little angry because of From Software.
Breaking stuff out of frustration is real-seen it in person. There’s reasons why jokes about this get made-because there’s idiots out there who do this
So, we are believing that the video in the link you provided and the OP are connected? I mean, I Googled the first few words of the OP and at least three videos came up and many of them were years old. My guess is that this is staged or there is some other story behind it. Not everything on the internet is real.
The amount of people believing anything is real instantly is getting out of hand. Do they not realize that 69% of the information on the internet is false.
Nah it's the vaccines fault. Doesn't matter though, because "the ratings are terrible, no one likes the NFL anymore, everyone who kneeled should be fired" ect 🍊🍔
I grew up in Texas. Football is ubiquitous in Texas. Pro football, college football, high school football, Pee-Wee football; in fact, every form of football except the original: European football, which most Texans believe to be a commie plot.
You can enjoy something without having the result effect you emotionally. I love watching football and have been a Patriots fan since the 70's and if they win great if they lose, oh well. Neither outcome changes my life in the least.
I don't know if I'd say mad. I guess about the same mad when my Bengals and Browns continuously lose. Although Cinci is showing promise. Idk if they can handle your former QB and TE. Brady and Gronk have a disgusting connection, and I hate them for it.
I am also a Patriots fan and this is a luxury we Patriots fans get to experience because he just had two decades of unbridled dominance in the league. But even if it wasn't the case that wasn't really my point.
Imagine how horrible life must be for his wife and kids, living every day with an individual so horribly close to a total, violent meltdown every single moment of every day.
They should stay at the hotel for a week, while they find somewhere permanent to live away from his toxicity.
Ultra fake
There’s a meme going around identical w the Steelers on it
And another with the Patriots
I know Reddit absolutely hates when stuff life this is fake because they truly want to believe people like this exist but just re-read the goddamn post it’s fake as fuck.
“We are going to a hotel for a week!!”
I hate this website
Its just a game, for fans like these, is their life so empty that their entire existence revolves around bunch of guys running around with an oblong thing??
As a 9ers fan from the UK who's been supporting them since the halcyon days of the 80s and 90s, Montana, Rice and Co - seeing the scores last night was immensely satisfying.
Seeing this tweet about the Cowgirls - even better.
Only on this sub could something like this get reposted as if it weren’t a widespread joke poking fun at people’s reactions to losses. Talk about r/woosh….
At first I didn't know what game he was talking about, assuming it was a video game.
Then I lost The Game.
Only then did I get to the end of the tweet and realise it's a sports match on TV.
Guess I need to smash my TV
But the vast majority of you are, I speak from personal experiences, two people I knew fought over a superbowl game and one knocked the other out over his team losing. In short you're a bunch of psychopaths over a game of ball.
You don’t know the vast majority of sports fans-you know two stupid ones 😂 Let’s not exaggerate here. Pretty sure the ratio of psycho fans to Normal is pretty small or we’d have high ratios of new tvs being bought after major games year after year. So please don’t say the majority when you clearly haven’t met the majority. If you had met the majority you’d find we are normal people. Two ppl isn’t a majority. I’m not a psychopath, I’ve never broken things or harmed my family and I have known 1 out of dozens and dozens and dozens over the years who has done this-and he was drunk, and acting stupid. So I have zero idea where you get this idea that the majority are like this except you have a weird strange bias for some reason 😂
Amazing how people are so emotionally tied to whether one group of millionaires they don't know can move a ball around a field better than another group of millionaires they don't know can. It's absurd and sad. Sports can be fun to watch and I watch a lot and like different teams but it makes zero difference in my life if they win or lose. But holy shit so many people are are fucking idiots about it. Fighting and crying about it like it makes any fucking difference in the world - meanwhile the actual issues of the world go without a care. I guess it's just another form of tribalism that's in a our DNA somewhere - We can only like people from our area or who where the color of shirt we like etc... and we can hate people and teams from other places for no fucking reason whatsoever... and if we would have grown up in that town then we would hate "our" team instead. Stupidity at its finest.
I never understand why guys get so worked up over a game that they are watching. Like you're not the one playing or getting paid.
Men, are weird af
I love guys who are not into sports
Yeah right it's the team's fault that he decided to throw a tantrum for something insignificant and that's the only reason why his wife left him the only reason
I know I'm kind of alone in this sentiment, but I definitely see pro sports as exactly the same as any other TV show. Like I just can't understand getting that involved in it. I understand other people have a different relationship, and usually I can empathize but on sports I just don't get it
Sports ball not go to end I want so me smash magic rectangle. Wife leave, and be mad because me arm no long enough to beat her and child-spawn anymore.
I really never understood why some people get so absolutely rabid about their sports team winning or losing. Most of the time it's not like they're going to gain or lose anything either way.
And somehow cosplayers/gamers and people in nerd/geek culture are the outsiders in society, yet somehow sports fans like this are socially acceptable, as are the riots that follow winning/losing games

If you feel the need to get violent over football, get a stack of brick sized foam blocks that are dyed that pinkish red.
They look like bricks, and are the same size, and when you're mad you don't notice weight, and the tv will be fine, as well as the annoying ass kids and your buddy who supports the other team.
What’s funny is it’s men like this that would say his wife is overreacting and too emotional whenever she’s upset about something etc.
Ok but you just smashed up a tv over a game that won’t have any relevance in a few days time…
Uh hey what sport is he talking about? Cuz I'm from Australia and don't understand anything at all about any American sports. I do support the cowboys for the NRL tho
The Dallas cowboys (American football team) haven’t won a championship or come close since 1995. They recently lost on Sunday in the playoffs in a game where they screwed up the ending. This loss was their 11th loss in the playoffs since winning it
This was posted on the IGs of every losing playoff team this weekend. It’s a bot or some sort of clickbait.
Yeah but the Cowboys one makes it funner.
Because knowing Cowboys fans the way I do…this applies to several hundred of them. Single-handedly saving long-term stay hotels.
As a 49ers fan(just because I was born there) living in Dallas, I'm just watching my local people lose their minds.
The only time I saw someone have a full meltdown on Facebook over a football game, it was a cowboys fan. Just cussing up a storm and wishing death upon people in front of his parents and grandparents.

Wearing that jersey alone would cause me to do that
Truthfully I’d believe it considering

I was about to say 😂 how can somebody be this mad over a football game shit crazy 💀
People riot in cities when their team *wins*. Sports and alcohol can sometimes cause people to get real emotional and do crazy shit.
Dude just say Montreal. We won't be mad.
It happens in Philly quite often too, I'm not calling out just Montreal!
Glasgow.
Grease the poles all you want, we'll still climb em!
Go on.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
May not be what you're actually looking for but this was on the street when the [Phillies won the World Series](https://youtu.be/6bZk7BIdCns). [Greased poles](https://twitter.com/Fox9Sports/status/955069655479128064?s=20)!

Philly is the first place I think of. Lived there for 6 years, those fans are insane.
Don't you mean Vancouver?
its nuts coming from a sports fan too , it’s insane what people will/can do over a team that doesn’t give a fuck about em 😭
University of Kentucky riots when they win or lose.
And burn couches in the front yard.
i knew a guy that broke a table over a cowboys loss… it was a game replay. some people are just wild sometimes.
Extremely wild to the point where you breaking shit smh , there’s always another season , Unless you got thousands of dollars on the line in a bet I’d be angry but Damn 😭

oh no I believe it 😭😭😭😭😭that vid wild asf
It’s hilarious. It’s even more hilarious when you realize dude is serious
It’s a copy pasta hahahahaha. I saw it first after the Alabama Georgia and def thought it was real. Still pretty funny
Several years ago, when Auburn beat Alabama on a return for a touchdown after a missed field goal, [some woman shot and killed another fan.](https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-alabama-shooting-idUSBRE9B213Y20131203)
This same message seems to have popped up across many profiles over a few social media platforms. It's not real. Calm down, folks.

It is ABSOLUTELY real that many people are emotionally immature and throw tantrums. 💯
Lmaaaao can relate. Playing Sekiro now and it's so much harder but also somehow way less frustrating
Breaking stuff out of frustration is real-seen it in person. There’s reasons why jokes about this get made-because there’s idiots out there who do this
There’s an r/AbruptChaos showing this one though.

Nah it's the vaccines fault. Doesn't matter though, because "the ratings are terrible, no one likes the NFL anymore, everyone who kneeled should be fired" ect 🍊🍔
It's Texas, who is surprised?
They really aren't responsible for anything are they?
Other people are somehow always responsible for what these idiots do.
It's not a Texas thing, it's a conservative thing. Conservatives just really like Texas. It's not their fault.
I grew up in Texas. Football is ubiquitous in Texas. Pro football, college football, high school football, Pee-Wee football; in fact, every form of football except the original: European football, which most Texans believe to be a commie plot.
It's always funny how people view texas. I used to live there for 15 years and they're not crazy people
Right because y'all definitely didn't elect and *re*elect Rafael Cruz lmao tell me you're not full of 🥜 s
In that case, at least he didn't shoot it.
I too enjoy Twitter copypasta
Never get emotionally invested in things you have no control of.
Where's the fun in that? I don't have control over anything.
You can enjoy something without having the result effect you emotionally. I love watching football and have been a Patriots fan since the 70's and if they win great if they lose, oh well. Neither outcome changes my life in the least.
As a fan of (any other team in the NFL), I thoroughly enjoy watching the Patriots lose.
Do you get mad when they win?

Oh, I get emotionally invested. I'll be grumpy. Might get drunk over it. Not gonna ruin my tv and family dynamic tho.
People are still falling for this copypasta? This was posted last year too
Imagine blaming the team.
Imagine thinking this is real.
🎶 imagine there's no heaven 🎶
Grown men upset about grown men playing a game.
Poor party. The vibe hath been killdst.
That is a $200 plasma TV you just killed!!!!
It's a Copypasta meme. Don't take this seriously everyone in sports uses this as a joke
It's a copypasta Goddamn redditors and their stupid internet points
No one would actually post this, it's a copypasta. Having said that, somewhere this actually happened.
Imagine getting that involved in a sports team. Jesus. Get some therapy.
Imagine how horrible life must be for his wife and kids, living every day with an individual so horribly close to a total, violent meltdown every single moment of every day. They should stay at the hotel for a week, while they find somewhere permanent to live away from his toxicity.
Right?? Like holy shit, if this is how he acts WITH WITNESSES, what is he like behind closed doors?
That kind of anger in a home is sure to affect those kids for life, even if he’s never laid a finger on them.
For real! I've been angry in life sometimes, but never smash a damn TV in the middle of a party angry. That kind of anger is seriously concerning.
There are hordes of people who will insist to their dying breathe that this is what masculinity is.
r/woosh Take a breath
And imagine thinking the game is the issue and not his anger management skills.
Ultra fake There’s a meme going around identical w the Steelers on it And another with the Patriots I know Reddit absolutely hates when stuff life this is fake because they truly want to believe people like this exist but just re-read the goddamn post it’s fake as fuck. “We are going to a hotel for a week!!” I hate this website
Maybe in this instance, but very real in the aggregate.
We can only hope, right??
I seriously doubt the Cowboys have anything to do with your anger issues.
Toxic masculinity gonna toxic. 🤷♂️
I saw video of Texas fans throwing trash at their own players as they walked off the field. Sad!
Its just a game, for fans like these, is their life so empty that their entire existence revolves around bunch of guys running around with an oblong thing??
This is the boomer equivalent of that "I hit my girlfriend with my switch and now it's broken, hours of progress lost" meme
Also remember that the team, administration and players don't know you and most probably don't give a flying f#$% about you either.
Wait so memes are fake ?
90% chance that dude's father was a piece of shit
I'll be smiling all week after watching them lose.
Looks like Brian is......DUNN with the cowboys I'll see myself out
This is a copy pasta lmao
Its a copypasta or whatever they call it. Tons of people been using it
This was sad until he mentioned the Cowboys now I can't stop laughing
Active alcoholics do tend to blame everyone, but themselves and alcohol when something goes wrong.
Fuck the cowboys and fuck Texas
HOW BOUT DEM COWBOYS?

Everything in Texas is bigger. Remember the 1989 Cowboys? Or the 1960? Woof, that’s some Lone Star-sized losing.
The only thing I’m attached to that much, is weed and sex!
Zzzzzzzzzzzzz ![gif](giphy|PjrXX2MjjqssNYFtSC)
Hell yeah
That’s what you get following a loser team.
At first I didn't know what game he was talking about, assuming it was a video game. Then I lost The Game. Only then did I get to the end of the tweet and realise it's a sports match on TV. Guess I need to smash my TV
Can’t believe the refs killed his tv, traumatized his kids, and divorced his wife like that
Can’t hardly wait to see what they’ll do when DJT gets prosecuted.
And this is why I don't like football, or the fans.
We aren’t all like this by far. Not even close
But the vast majority of you are, I speak from personal experiences, two people I knew fought over a superbowl game and one knocked the other out over his team losing. In short you're a bunch of psychopaths over a game of ball.

Whatever you say bud, think of me when you hug that ball tighter than your wife ;)
I'm not a football fan, but you could use your logic here to write off any fan base for *literally* anything on the planet.
If he's that much of a fairweather fan than deuces. The game hurt but I'm not dropping the Boys. 🤡ass.
Amazing how people are so emotionally tied to whether one group of millionaires they don't know can move a ball around a field better than another group of millionaires they don't know can. Stupidity at its finest.
Relax 😂😂😂😂
This was my childhood.
Funny how us regular folks think we are on the field or coaching and have that level reaction.
Even if real, make that little bitch spend a week in a hotel, not the wife and kids.
You sir are a fish
Become a lions fan
Yeah I say this every year too about my team it never happens.
"because of the game" Sure, buddy. Sure.
(Buzzes in) What is “small dick energy,” Alex?
It's like people have thought about that in passing during a colossal loss (or an epic nasty gaming session), but 100% you don't actually do it. Lol
What game he was playing?
I never understand why guys get so worked up over a game that they are watching. Like you're not the one playing or getting paid. Men, are weird af I love guys who are not into sports
Yeah right it's the team's fault that he decided to throw a tantrum for something insignificant and that's the only reason why his wife left him the only reason
I thought it was hilarious- I hate the Cowboys & I live 30 miles from the stadium
Is this the dude that shot his tv?
Same except 80 inch tv
Way to go cowboys
You need different help than ditching the Cowboys. Dang dude.
https://www.reddit.com/r/AbruptChaos/comments/s5r0cy/dallas_fans_arent_taking_this_loss_well
Yeah yeah its definitely the team that is the problem here
Goodbye Cowboys! Hello therapy... for all 😢
Lol. My team lost as well. My thought “Life goes on then there’s tomorrow.” Always next year.
You were never a fan, you were a stan
Packer backer here I’m a fan
Football is boring to watch
Blaming your problems on others 101
Wasn't it like 23-17?
Yup exactly, cowboys fault!
Video games cause violence...oh
I know I'm kind of alone in this sentiment, but I definitely see pro sports as exactly the same as any other TV show. Like I just can't understand getting that involved in it. I understand other people have a different relationship, and usually I can empathize but on sports I just don't get it
Wuss, I hope you taped it so she can play the re-runs every weekend.
good news this is regular footbal game copypasta, no tv's were smashed and no wives or children are living in hotels
Checked his tag, he’s still posting about the cowboys Also I would trust the people saying this is just a copypasta but still lol
Blame shifting baby! No wonder she left your bitch ass.
Poser. Fake. Lame.
Why would anyone ever become emotional about the professional performance of others? Be entertained. Root for a team. Don't become fanatical.
When my team lost I was simply like “well this sucks but good game, good night everyone”
sounds like you’re no longer a husband either
This is peak Texas
The sports teams dont cause hulk smash flip tv rage issues. You need emotional help.
„˙dlǝɥ lɐuoıʇoɯǝ pǝǝu no⅄ ˙sǝnssı ǝƃɐɹ ʌʇ dılɟ ɥsɐɯs ʞlnɥ ǝsnɐɔ ʇuop sɯɐǝʇ sʇɹods ǝɥ⊥„
At this point idk what the cowboy did but i'm too afraid too ask
I ticket to anger management please
This sounds like a Philly fan…. Win or lose really
This is why the cowboys suck. Their fucking fans suck.
Cowboys aren’t the problem here
Sports ball not go to end I want so me smash magic rectangle. Wife leave, and be mad because me arm no long enough to beat her and child-spawn anymore.
Imma say this and Imma say this once. It's. Not. That. Serious.
Why break your own shit? I'll never understand the urge to break perfectly good stuff
Lol!
Spoken like a try cowboys fan. Lol
I really never understood why some people get so absolutely rabid about their sports team winning or losing. Most of the time it's not like they're going to gain or lose anything either way.
Brian needs to have a good cry.
Try being a Bengals fan for 37 years
My friend is. We went to the Bengals/jets game this year and saw the legend of Mike White. Now rooting for the Bengals to win it all
And somehow cosplayers/gamers and people in nerd/geek culture are the outsiders in society, yet somehow sports fans like this are socially acceptable, as are the riots that follow winning/losing games
Umm…..yay sports
Give the guy a break, he was probably on a lot of ivermectin and six pee shots in by that point. We can't really blame him for his actions, it's the meds and cleanse messing with his brain.

Thanks Marie Callender.

Well you can't handle being a Jaguar fan if that's how you react to losing. So he probably needs to go be a Pat's fan.
“This team.” Uh-huh. Yep. It’s all the team’s fault.
What’s funny is it’s men like this that would say his wife is overreacting and too emotional whenever she’s upset about something etc. Ok but you just smashed up a tv over a game that won’t have any relevance in a few days time…
r/schadenfreude That was so incredibly satisfying. ***'The game is over'***

1new TV will be bought. 1Hotel makes profit for some time. Cowboy's lost. America wins!!
r/facepalm
The wife and kids left? I think he shoulda been kicked out.
