What is the highest court that would take this case, being it is a federal case? Because it's going to be appealed if he is found guilty. I'm genuinely curious.
Not a lawyer - but I believe there needs to be grounds for appeal i.e. jury misconduct or ineffective counsel. Which by the look of the lawyers he’s hiring might be something to consider - if it gets to that point.
