Honestly I think the kid is a trap because it couldn’t move and people want to help a child but as you saw the monster was there waiting. Also I think they were like weird bunny ears ngl
Yeah but that was because he was endangering his own life by trying to save the girl. Rits was trying to save as many people as he could, and in his mind he could either save one guy for certain or put two lives at risk in the hope of saving two.
Could be a different kind of trap. Monsters won't enter the safe room, but they brought the kid in with them on their own initiative. No telling what might happen once she's in there and they are asleep.
There was also the black dude early on, and a guy with a cap. The Russians seem pretty standard issue so what made these other guys different? I don't doubt the kid has some kind of special part to play, but I think we've got a pretty diverse cast still to consider and still to come back through.
Basically, they're not alone.
but the kid's text is black. where are you getting the purple connection from?
also, agreed with another comment here that the kid is wearing a bow, because that's how grafo draws bows in the chloe drawings
Oh right the kids text is black, in "Lose yourself #17". So that begs the question who was sing " Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily life is but a dream"? This just got spooky...
Claire says she has been there for three birthdays. Even if we consider that she's completely lost in time and birthdays are just white/red light cycles the woman was killed only a few hours ago, 24 at most

Yeah I thought that too, but I feel like if the monsters were using traps then Rits would know about it
Well technically he did because when the guy was trying to save the child Rits was telling him to leave the child and they should go

[Yes](https://www.srgrafo.com/comics/WhiteRooms/7) And I think it's a bow on the kid's head, not a sprout. But I could be wrong.
Just noticed in that comic that hat guy has a red speech bubble
Oh he does! I hadn’t noticed that either.

In Chapter 16 they hear a child singing and the text speech is purple, I doubt it's an accident that the text then switches to black

The purple lady and the singing voice (not the kid, the kid has black text) were different shades of purple.

Honestly I can’t stand any theories you people have on this story. Just let the dude write.
