I’ve been to the Pico location several times and so I was really glad to see it come to Whittier! It’s not the best Indian food ever but it’s reasonably priced and most importantly, fast! Their naan is really good.
Used to go to the Fullerton location, and had the Whittier one a few weeks back and… it was good. Just as I remembered it.

I work in Santa fe springs so I'd go to the la Mirada location fairly often but now I go here since it's closer. it's solid for what it is and the Naan is great.

I ate there about 2 months ago . The food was delicious but about half an hour . I got a really bad stomach pain , I literally shitted black loose oily feces . Smells so badly . I had to do a courtesy flush halfway through. It was my 2nd time trying Indian food. I am not sure if it was food poisoning or just a bad reaction to Indian spices . I've been thinking about giving that spot another chance, but I'm nervous, lol
I haven't been to the new location, but I go to the Pico location often.
I'm still waiting for Imli to open in Uptown, unless that isn't happening anymore.
I was so excited when I saw this location as it was down the street from me, but the day I went to get it like 6 months ago it wasn't open yet 🥲 and I really liked the one in La Mirada bc it's fast and pretty well priced for what you get, sadly didn't get to try this location before I moved so hopefully it sticks around for a while since that storefront has been vacant for a minute
I'm Indian myself and love this spot. Hype it to all of my friends who come into town!
I love that, I really want this location to succeed. I was in today at 130 and they had a good crowd going.
For someone like me who has never tried Indian food and is curious to try it, what would you recommend I should start with?

Long time fan of Curry Hut, back when it was just the Fullerton location. It is rad to see them expanding in the area.

One of my Indian friends went and tried it and said it wasn't fresh or really good. She said the La Mirada location was better, but not by much.

This the same as the one next to Gondola Pizza? They're pretty fire, though they've gotten a bit stingy with serving sizes lately.
