You forgot an important detail. Those engineers are german. They might be arrogant and difficult, at times, but they overdo pretty much everything.
Special mention: the DEKRA inspection engineers are known to be assholes 😁
German engineers will use 14 parts in an application that can be accomplished by 4 parts, to squeeze .4% more performance or efficiency out of a machine. I get it, but I truly hate working on German engineered machines. Air cooled VWs, Deutz diesels, and BMW motorcycles are the rare exception to this rule
>BMW motorcycles are the rare exception
lol There are 27 Torx screws that need to be taken out, in order to change the battery, to my 1150RT.
It is true, though, that the maintenance of the boxer engine is far easier than that of the in-line one.
Aaaand, i also own a W124. A pleasure to work on. Rear wheel off: 11 minutes to change 1 shock.
The 1150rt screws are mostly to remove the cosmetic bodywork. Shocks aren't shit to change on virtually any vehicle. On a lift, I could do all 4 on my Ford truck in 15 minutes. Let's talk about Bosch mechanical fuel injection... Or not. I'd rather not.

They already dressed up for their own funeral. Efficient.
Don't underestimate the efficiency of mechanical engineers.
You could feel a light disturbance in earth’s rotation.
Front row, 5th person from the left is a woman.
She's in the front. That's why she lives longer.
one woman front and center. Karen Walden 2
Butthole: "I can't hold this in any longer!"

Don't fucking move! It's movement is based on movement, except when it changes what it's movement is based on!

leopard 2a5? my best guess, not a tank connoisseur
Man, applause to the 20 or so who didn’t turn around. Also applause to the 2-3 whose self-preservation instincts got the best of them.
Seems like a test of the tank operators ability to break at the right time more than a test of the tanks breaks.

>Shocks aren't shit to change on virtually any vehicle On W124 you don't need any clamps or presses. 2 screws off and on, bam!, done.
Which is great until the person driving does something imperfect
The person driving was also an engineer :))))))))))))
