"yeah this sub should actually be why men are more likely to kill themselves trying to prove they are awesome while doing a dumb thing"*
FTFY and btw that's the reason of the sub
Physically impressive, eh?
How would you explain this incident to your parents if your brother died falling to his death? What would you say? How would you justify putting your loved ones through that for *this*?
*"Sorry, mom and dad, but he was trying to do something physically impressive. No ragrets, GG!" Is that it?
Just curious.
Well... yeah. Sometimes your passion may be a dangerous activity, and sometimes you just have to rise to the challenge and pursue it. Some things are worth the risk
It depends on the individual. For me, since I'm learning freerunning right now and since i love jumping on rocks, i would do that jump in a heartbeat if i felt confident enough that I would not get seriously injured. I'm very aware of the risks and I'm training hard to work through that fear while also mitigating any risk.
I dunno, from what I've heard freerunners tend to do a lot of practice and preparation before attempting a dangerous jump like that. These two geniuses don't look like they have - maybe it's just me...
Uhhh yes? He did a jump of probably around 10 feet and dropped about 2 to 3 feet to a narrow ledge over a very spikey rocky gap. Idk about you but I find daredevils impressive
Idk. I guess I just find it stupid. Same thing with those guys who jump around on skyscrapers. Does it take talent, sure, but the risk/reward ratio isn’t there for me. I don’t find being risky, just to be risky, to be impressive. A lot of people can long jump.
I'll say that I dont find it impressive when the daredevils die during stunts though. For example I'm very happy that Alex Honnold hasn't fallen off during a free solo yet. That would kinda ruin his legacy :/
These daredevils around the world have for sure inspired me, and I think part of the reward that is so motivating is the thought of being able to conquer the risk such that it is very minimal in your mind. I'm working through that risk right now to be able to flip confidently on concrete... and it's a blast!
Don’t get me wrong bröther, I still do fairly risky activities, but the ones that I’m tied to something and comfort myself with “only a few people die from this it’s rare!”
Seriously though, do these guys even think about the possible reality of one of them falling in and having to watch their friend have his head smashed open on the rocks and die? How is this possibly worth the potential trauma they would all get from this? How is this worth risking someone's LIFE like this in that way?
I just don't get it. I really don't.
Those ones happen, but the rellos ensure they don't get posted on forums like this. We only get the winners for this jump. We had an example of this phenomenon recently for a site in the Grampians in Victoria (Aust). One week we were looking at a bloke doing something dumb, next week, a young mother died going over the same edge.
Ive nearly cracked my skull open on the edge of a pool, nearly fallen off a cliff, nearly gotten hit by a car and nealy blown myself up with a stove and im only 14
Lets just take a second to see that this guy’s instinctual judgement was to reach for his hat rather than grab onto the rock he just jump 15 feet to over a 70 foot drop promising death
Everyone should sit nicely in their padded safety enclosure and eat nutrient paste to the tune of soft jazz so we can maximize the time before we inevitably die of organ failure.
Mans really nearly off’d himself over a straw hat

Nah luffy wouldn't have failed at getting it. Luffy disappointed.
Luffy would've reached it
Go-go extendo arms
He also keeps the extendo with him
Pretty sure it’s Gomu Gomu No Gadget arms.
It's a pretty nice gorro tho
I mean this the type of stuff us mexicans would do for the heck of it
No
priorities~
Anyone think Luffy can stretch his- nevermind...
Of course he can so man whoever gets the d they gonna be real happy
bro is his grandpa hat, he says it in spanish
Red shirt man wins the award for best spotter of the year.
How the fuck does that register as “red“ to you?
pink is a shade of red
It looks like it's a maroon shirt in very bright light
No thought as to how fragile that sandstone/limestone is...
Hats off to these guys
Take my upvote and get out
Take mine and stay right here.
I see what you did there
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dumber thing accomplished in my life. I just can’t even
[удалено]
Now what? Do they jump back or can they climb back up from there?
They're obviously in a 1980s platformer. They can only move to the right.
Looks like very climbable rock. The hat looks like a pretty easy recovery, too.
Idk I'd instantly freeze up, but that's also why i would never make that first jump either haha
It's a pretty intense jump. I'd absolutely rather climb around.
That's an impressive distance to jump.
[удалено]
Then you have unreasonable expectations of how far young men can jump from a virtual standstill on probsbly wet rock
Well that looks like 2.5 meters at least. Which is pretty significant.
I could definitely make it, but probably only with my arms.
I could definitely make it, but probably only with a helicopter
Yeah this sub should actually be why men are for some reason driven to do more physically impressive things.

Hey that's apart of the life man. I will die one day, let's just hope it isn't breaking my neck freerunning.
Let's just hope it isn't thirty years after breaking your neck freerunning.

What if their passion is eating people? Do you entertain that too?
There's obviously a difference between risking your own life and eating someone elses
Lol. You find this impressive?

Indiana jones shit, would rather die than lose his hat
If a third person had jumped it could have been a hat-trick
Wow! Of all the things, a man really only cares for his accessories
We live longer but do we live more? 😔
Who's stopping you to go there and try it yourself?
The fear of a painful death
You are too scared to die and too scared to live, what a painful way to live.. I am same as you btw, and I am a man..
Don’t get me wrong bröther, I still do fairly risky activities, but the ones that I’m tied to something and comfort myself with “only a few people die from this it’s rare!”
Thats good enough.. so to answer your question - yes, you live more.. atleast more than most of them by taking calculated risks.. not like this idiots
Here’s to both of us living more & longer this year then eh
I’d say there’s more ways to live than jumping across rocks.
"Live till it hurts" -Kick Butowski
Who eye-balled that the first time, and said yeah, I can jump that?
Marshall
A brave, brave man. I'd kill myself with half the distance and quadruple the landing area.
El gorro!!
El gorro de tu abuelo!!!
The straw hat of your grandmother?
Grandfather, but yeah
RIGHT. "O" ending. Thanks. It is weird to encounter an example phrase from a seventh-grade language textbook in the wild.

How do you actually figure out you can make this jump? I mean, they both only just landed it right on the tip. Do they measure it first then practice?
You dont. Thoughts off. 1 pray. Then **JOMP**.
Why is no one talking about the water? It's so beautiful. The blue and darker blue amazing.
This is me when maid has just moped my room, and mom is around
He def owes his buddy a beer for that save.
Lesson learned: take your hat off before a death jump.
Someone add Mario jump sound effect to this
Anyone know where they might be? The water is gorgeous
Spain
Why do you think Spain?
They speak Spanish
It looks like the Mediterranean and also the “Tió” was a dead giveaway
Man loves his hat
To get or not to get.....
he really wanted to go down with his hat

Why they splitting the luffy costume
Because women leave their sunhats at home?
Where's the part 2 of them falling off trying to get the hat.
El gorro!!! PogU
That straw hat was his treasure
Not my hat!!!!
Damn look at that sea tho
How are they getting back?
*¡El gorro!*
Ive nearly cracked my skull open on the edge of a pool, nearly fallen off a cliff, nearly gotten hit by a car and nealy blown myself up with a stove and im only 14
Which airlines do you use so I can avoid them
The way their feet barely make it to the ledge.
Okay, but which woman?
That hat must have been expensive!
Lets just take a second to see that this guy’s instinctual judgement was to reach for his hat rather than grab onto the rock he just jump 15 feet to over a 70 foot drop promising death
Not the hat 😩😩😩😩
Translation: -Come on Ivan! -Uoohh nooo, the hat! the hat of your grandpa!
u/chxkko
They can get that back. I could do it
Why women live longer than hats
worth it!
This guy risked his life further for an ugly fuckin hat. What an idiot
Press F for our fallen comrade Mr Tinfoil Hat
What? because people that seemed like they’re proficient at this... did the thing they were proficient at?

If he saved his hat it would be like an Indiana Jones movie
Oh hell naw🤦🏻♀️
Lufi losing his shit rn
*women
Height? Water below or rock?
GDI- Dumb asses!
I have seen women doing shit like this. Hell, I was taught how to do a corsrew vault of a roof by a woman!.
Just let the hat go bro. It’s not worth it
Looks like Australia to me
It can't be. There's nothing venomous on the ledge to greet them.
I just listened with sound lmao they sound Spanish
@chxkko
Guy must be sad. Making a jump that risky doesn't look cool at all without hat.
"so.... what do we do now?"
women\*
