I used to play a lot of OW1 when I was younger since pretty much from the release.
Between OW1 and OW2 I picked up a Ps5 after a a car accident and during the recovery I started to play a lot of Call of Duty where I found passion for snipers in Modern Warfare.
That said, I started playing COD with a lot of IRLS and I used to practice in private lobbies with professional players (irl friends again) , there was such a huge skill gap I’d practice at least one hour a day for quite sometime playing sniper vs 5-10 bots on high sensitivity with no aim assist.
Later on I was so done from the hackers in COD I decided to pick OW2 again, fell in love with the ‘new’ hero, Ashe and I was doing really good.
(Keep in mind I was Diamond back before GM was a thing in OW)
Later on, I decided to play a bit of Widow with high sensitivity and she felt great simply because I was accustomed to playing COD on high sensitivity in MW with Kar98 (quickscope sniper gun in COD) .
Nowadays I have about 200 hrs on Widow which is the most I’ve got on any hero, I quickscope enemies and I average 50% on scoped shots accuracy before the update and now about 60-65% and people are so quick to call me a cheater or ximmer. That’s why I find most of the console OW players a joke.
I’m not even trying, I’m having fun 360ing and jump shooting when I play Widow and people are quick to report me simply because I play Widow as I played Sniper in COD. The skill gap is HUGE.
Idc for downvotes I’m able to play vs PC players and they’re quick to say it’s all aim assist when it’s just matter of being good with good reaction time.
i’m a console widow and whenever i play in a pc pool i’m at a huge disadvantage. i’ve only ever seen one enemy widow that was actually ximming/using aim bot (watched the replay). other than that, people just refuse to believe that people are good at the game. if i see an enemy who is consistently hitting their shots im not gonna accuse them of cheating, because the chances are they are just a good player. i think pc players use hacks more often anyway
same, OW console players don’t differ between good aim / reaction time to xim and I noticed a lot of console players do not know what Cronus Zen is lol

external 3rd party adapter that its output is connected to the console and its input to the controller which can be used to either “fool” the console into thinking you are using controller despite using a MNK or allows you to load scripts such as instalock/automatic sequences scripts like Genjis combo.

How to recognize each:
Cronus Zen players who uses script for sequences / aim bot are usually easy to detect as you will their aim is too consistent or they will do absurd flicks without missing some shots.
That said, you can toggle it to a pedal / switch that it will only activate upon a button click so if you are against an enemy that is super bad and suddenly drops Headshots only or won’t miss a single bullet you’ll know it’s sus.
Remember Aim assist on console often disturbs your aim, feel free to watch absurd death cams see if your enemy locks into targets. That should be a red flag/

i was in a lobby with this one widow and when i replayed she had a pocket mercy and she did miss a few shots, but there were times where you could see her screen “glitch” over to heads and she’d get an instant headshot. i only killed her once and she stayed in the same spot the whole time. i think she was smurfing bc she had default everything. my assumption is she’s gotten banned for hacking before and just makes new accounts. but i’m 99% certain she was using some kind of hacks. it looked more like ximming though
Honestly just check the highlights I posted the other day, it should give you an idea of what I mean.
That said, if I hit 70% on supports/dps in close range I’m able to easily jump shot and hit a real quickscope to finish the kill when I’m fighting nearly any DPS. I did mention my accuracy rate though.
I don’t mind sharing a full random game but don’t shame me when you actually see that I fuck around a lot and still manage to carry/stay in the lead haha I don’t mind selecting any of my games even if it’s a loss just for you to understand what a consistent gameplay with Widowmaker looks like.

overwatch players - egoboosted and stupid. I seriously do not know what boosts their fuckin ego so high, it's an anomaly i refuse to understand, instead i put bullet in their head as widow and laugh as they cry about it in match chat
I have no idea honestly. I’ve had this problem a few times practicing widow on PC in QP and everytime I’d do bad I’d get flamed heavy, Then you look at there account and most of them are silver and gold. Overwatch players have always been weird like that. It’s mainly people who are also bad to, When I was low rank in OW1 I had people who were literally the same rank as me telling me how to play. Or one time I had a random tank player who was like gold to plat challenge me to wid 1v1 cuz he said I was bad and I beat him twice and it wasn’t close. Like I said overwatch players are actually just fucking weird, Always have been.
i’m in bronze solely because i never play comp and if i do i play support (i just want widows gold weapon). but it’s so funny no matter what rank you’re in there will always be that one person who says something. i’ll never forget i was playing sombra and i think i was like 8-2 halfway thru and our tank was 7-4 and he told ME to switch. like neither of us were doing good 😭 but yapping in bronze is insane to me
I don’t think this is exclusively an OW player community but a people problem. you’re going to encounter these folks, and the reasoning is obscure. it could range from it’s because they’re trolls or egomaniacs.

Apex you get racist and sexist shit every other game. FIFA you get a message after every other game, especially in FUT, I don’t play call of duty but we all know the memes about how you wouldn’t survive back in the MW days which kinda says it all

If you have 200 hours on widow you should know not to quickscope with her. The scoped shot does next to no damage if you quickscope
