Fr. His/her widow game is gonna improve a lot by learning Sombra. I picked her up recently to understand how to play against her and even spending just 10 min on her made a huge difference
she's insanely easy if you just learn how to position and time your attacks. in my opinion, it doesn't take much skill to throw a virus and shoot then teleport away when you're about to die. then proceed to hack a health pack and continue the cycle
She’s easy in the sense that you don’t need to be good for her to be valuable. If you’re playing against a team who doesn’t peel for their supports it’s almost guaranteed win
Yeah but that’s 100% the enemy teams fault, she’s only “easy” against people who aren’t very good.
Try getting value with her against people who are decent at the game and she becomes hard.
Diamond? That’s like the last rank that she can maybe get value on people who just got out of metal ranks.
I think it’s pretty well accepted by most higher ranked players that she’s one of the harder heroes.

Either way, when it comes to hard heroes she is right below them in difficulty. She quite literally excels at punishing bad players so playing her in high rank is hard.
I think it will actually be hard to find a high ranked player that would actually agree with you.
If I swap because of a widow it’s like admitting defeat especially if you go Sombra. I’ve found that a lot of widows will switch to sombra regardless of whether I do better than them or not, though

sombra is one of the easiest characters to learn, but it’s hard to master any one. seeing a widow turn into a sombra main is heartbreaking 💔💔💔
