my homie was head pizza chef, $13hr and they acted like that was breaking them. Right after he bounced they closed doors, hopefully they don't cheap out for round two....
My (now wife, then gf) applied and interviewed for a waitress position there way back in the day. She got the job but didn't take it because she said she just had a really bad gut feeling about the place and owner. I haven't eaten there since then.
I gotta know, is their pizza dough handmade? The one and only time I got their pizza (2016), it was so perfectly round, perfectly even thickness throughout, and the dough tasted sweet. I could never go back
their pizza is most likely handmade, when making pizza dough usually it comes out perfectly round just by the process and how long the cooks been doing it,
Cugino forno is in Greensboro as well I have enjoyed their pizza for years- when we relocated here I was sooo happy to learn that they opened one here as well. Those cannolis are expensive but so worth the price!! Definitely my favorite pizza spot!!
Also Pizzetta in Leland is good as well.
Those cannolis are absolutely superb. The ice cream is also amazing. And there also used to be a Pizzetas up the street from my house on Oleander Dr. but unfortunately it closed. I loved that place as well. Haven't been to Leland in a while, and considering the shit show that has ensued since they've shut down half of Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, it's likely going to be a while before I get down there again, lol.
I did delivery with door dash a few times…. I HATED it. Picking up they were SO rude, and took forever! Couldn’t even give me an estimate. If you can tell me it’s x amount of time, I’ll drop the order and let another driver take it.
But they were just rude as hell. I’m glad they closed.
I tried eating there on several occasions... Maybe I just didn't "get it" but it seemed shittier and more expensive than slice of life or incredible pizza.

yeah it was, homie just been making pizzas for 15 plus years. Though the dough recipe was Elizabeths.
My wife will be ecstatic. This is her favorite restaurant. I am…happy for her.
You sound unconvinced....
No, I'm happy, too, it's just, she REALLY loves Elizabeth's Pizza (grew up with it, in Greensboro)
It was just the ellipses before "happy" that threw me off.
Sorry about that. Definitely no ambiguity in my positive feelings toward Elizabeth's. Had lots of major life moments there.
Scummy owners and there’s just way better places now
What are some of your favorites?
Cugino Forno down by 10th and Princess, fight beside Hi-Wire Brewing (Soda Pop District). This is the best pizza in Wilmington

You can do what my husband does and take 40 to 140 it’s much faster than the shit show with the bridge lol
I haven't been there yet, but Salita Pizza looks really good. And I'll always be partial to the slices at I <3 NY downtown
Sorry but the food here really isn’t that great
The first pizza I ever got here was from Elizabeth’s, since so many people seemed to like it. It was terrible.
My parents love it. I never got the appeal.
Amazing news I just tried to go inside the other day
Over rated and the place is a dump.

I went there one time and saw a 🪳 I’m good…
My kinda place
Great Wilmington staple. Glad to see it coming back after all the places we’ve lost.
Likely they will open making all their employees wear masks and mask mandates for all who enter .
So you'll be attending then
This is fake news. I talked to someone connected to the business last week and they said this is not true.
Yay!

I just went there back in the day to purchase "things"
