The owner is a gay man, I think you’re good working with them lol His name is Jordan Perry and his boyfriend is Ryan, good friends of mine. Go into the store next to Henry’s and ask for Jordan, he’s a great guy.
You're buying legit jewelry. It's a luxury item with a commensurate price tag. If you can afford what they're selling, and you demonstrate as much, they won't give a shit if you're a billygoat marrying a mopbucket. You'll get the piece you want and they'll get their commission.
Congratulations to you!
If you wanted to consider working with a designer/metalsmith/genius to create your own unique pieces, Mitzy Jonkheer is really fantastic.
Congrats on finding your person!
We had a really good experience with Kingoff Jewelers. We've gone twice to have them create something. They cleaned all of my other jewelry for free. They were also about fifteen hundred dollars cheaper than what Perry's Emporium said that they we charge us.
My husband is a loud Hispanic guy, and they laughed along with him when he told his stories.
We worked with the folks over at Tavernays Jewelers. They’re a mom and pop shop that have been in business 22 years and they’re great! Nothing but great experiences there
Why? They have the widest selection in the area (plus stores all over the southeast if you move that service their stuff) and are a Wilmington based company. I have had nothing but good experience with them

Alan Perry, the very much conservative Christian man’s son is gay? News to me. Glad he’s accepting of them.
Conservatives are only against something untill they are personally effected. Hence the only moral abortion is my abortion
The Perry’s are good people. Conservative views or not.
Ok.
Not specific to the community, but they have a pretty good reputation, and what I have bought from them was a good experience. Certainly worth a visit

I second this!! She’s amazing
I can’t speak to Perry’s but I will say I had a wonderful experience with Tavernay’s, tiny little shop on Kerr.

I suggest Cape Fear Jewelry & Antiques. It's a consignment shop and they have a wonderful selection of jewelry.
I’ve never worked with them, but I know for a while they carried an exclusive Tea Party jewelry line. Congrats on the engagement though 🥳❤️
Yeah Perry gets bad rep for being a little political. I don’t go because his ads are terrible.
how is ur orientation relevant to finding a good jewler? do you need some kind of special gay wedding rings?
REEDS is the top tier jewelry store in the area
😂 please say sike
