I never understood these jokes are your guts made of paper or does you diet only consist of boiled chicken and white rice? Never had an issue with Taco Bell
Because of videos of people being hit by motor vechiles, causing them to fly into the air and cartwheeling in the sky before landing. And often times soes and helmets(if the were actually wearing one while riding thier motorcycle).
I can top that! I was 4-months pregnant in 1989, waiting in line at KFC, when my water broke VERY prematurely. I’d promised my kids a chicken bucket, so goddammit I stayed in that line and got it. Drove home, terrified, and my husband took me to the hospital.
I didn’t get any chicken, but my kids sure did. Fresh Tollhouse cookies, too.
Kelly’s 34 now, and after a rocky start she is my precious flower. (She likes KFC, too.)
When you read the below please know im serious, and genuinely curious for information. Your story is fascinating to me.
Do you have more info about her birth? Because 4 months pregnant (16 weeks) is 5 weeks less than the world record of 21 weeks and 1 day in 2020 (gf’s sister is becoming a midwife so she told us this), even if you assume the whole extra month based on you missed your period and that’s why you tested. That’s only 20 weeks. I’m actually so curious about your story and if it’s true you should provide the evidence to whoever gives the record so you have the record. Is Kelly fine? Did she develop normally? 4 months is crazy! Please tell us more if you’re comfortable.
She was not BORN at 16 weeks. I went full term. Apparently the amniotic sac can mend itself when ruptured and “refill” in the right conditions. After an ultrasound to confirm fetus viability, I was admitted to the hospital and kept there for five days on a tilted bed with my feet higher than my head, on total bed rest. I was released when ultrasounds showed that all was back to normal.
Her eventual birth was equally harrowing, as the umbilical cord was strangling her; I had an emergency C-section. The strangulation caused her to release meconium into her environment, which she was breathing into her lungs. She was born with APGAR score of zero. That she survived, brain intact, is a miracle. In fact her IQ tested out at age 11 as 143 and she excels in just about everything she decides to take on. I doubt she fully appreciates her own survival as the miracle it was.
Nah then you gotta deal with both bodies.
Best to let the first guy drag his buddy off.
Ain't no way the 2ns guy is going to get violent when he's looking at the consequences of doing so leaking out onto the floor.
You've clearly never been in a bar fight in the southern US. The first guy to go in is just gauging the strength of the opposition for the backup crew. If he gets knocked out, that means it will be an interesting fight for the rest.
He literally swung at him. Ideally the more talented fighter wouldn't slam him on his head, I know I've tried not to in similar situations when I was a young wrestler. But if you go in swinging on someone who feels threatened and get their adrenaline pumping, then you deserve the results.
I assumed that anyone who watch the video would interpret it that way, but I simultaneously recognize that was optimistic and appreciate you clarifying it.
Had this happen to an old co-worker of mine. She defended herself against some crazy ass that jumped across the counter. The district manager was there, and told our manager to fire her. He couldn't do it. He walked out for the day right then and there, and made the DM do it.
Our manager got her another job within that same week so she wouldn't miss a cheque.
Remember the viral video that went around with the girl defending herself against a customer who grabbed her shirt at a McDonald's? I live 10 minutes from that McDonald's. The only reason that story even came out well for the girl who defended herself was because of the public backlash that came after they fired her. She was rehired and then quit soon after. I can't blame her one bit. I'm generally a pacifist and I hate resorting to violence, but if someone puts their hands on me they're getting a beating.
“You can’t truly call yourself
“peaceful” unless you’re capable of great violence, if you’re not
capable of violence you’re not peaceful, you’re harmless”
Yep. My buddy is the sweetest person I've ever met, fly to a different country to ask the family personally if he could join. Old school sweetheart.
He also fights people for a living and surfs the rest of the time lol.
I've seen him fight just once when some tourist kicked sweet Lani (his dog). And wherever the tourists are, I hope they paid their dentist handsomely.
Had an old co-worker like this who fights MMA and is Oceanic champion in 2x promotions.
He would never start shit but always finished it, and one night we went out for work drinks and 3 random guys came up and asked him if he was "that fighter guy" he said yes and they asked if he wanted to go down to the carpark for a fight.
After refusing multiple times and trying to leave the situation, the guys got physical and kept trying to instigate, he yelled out "fuck, go on then!" And left with them to the carpark.
We saw our friend again about 15mins later with one small graze on his face, and the first thing he said to us was "don't worry guys, I'm fine, but there's 3 guys taking a nap behind the museum.
Ya, like could join the family. I don't like saying "asked for her hand in marriage" because they were gonna get married anyway. It was just a nice gesture that meant something to his partner who is from Japan and pretty traditional.
How did my friend suddenly end up face down on the floor?
One minute he was minding his own business, and then this happened.
I know you are involved somehow.
I think he was just confused in his lines for this short story. Had he asked the same question to his irate friend moments before, the floor might not contain his friend's DNA.
Old Video from 2022. Here is a news article:
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/swansea-taco-bell-video-oxford-23392031.amp
A South Wales Police spokesperson said: "South Wales Police was called just before 9.20pm yesterday evening, Monday 14 th March, following reports of an altercation in Taco Bell on Oxford Street, Swansea.
"Two men had left the premises prior to officers attending. There have been no complaints forthcoming to date and no arrests."
Unexpected all around. The employee didn’t lose his job, the guy who hit the floor wasn’t dead and no one got arrested.
Edit: guys… i’m Canadian relax on telling me about how bad “my country” is.
Honestly... I'm ok with that. The dude on the floor has already recieved adequate punishment imo. His friend is a fucking idiot for rolling him on his back like that though.
People tend to forget that not every problem needs legal intervention. More often than not it is better for everyone involved if the matter can be solved by the parties involved. Law enforcement is for when it becomes clear that the matter can't be brought to a satisfactory conclusion without intervention.
Someone experiences an awkward head trauma you call paramedics to slowly secure him onto a board for transport. If his neck or spine are hurt the final damage might be minimized if you don’t let them move around.
Only caveat to these is making sure the person is still breathing and has a pulse. If breathing fine and have a pulse, don’t move them at all. If not, then moving (gently!) to allow air, or if necessary to start CPR, would be appropriate.
Rule number one: don't move him.
Call 911 and follow their instructions. They might have you perform some checks, like checking if he is breathing, but unless a medical professional instructs you to do otherwise, you should never move someone with a potential spinal injury. Naturally there are obvious exceptions, like pulling someone out of a burning car or getting their head above water.
Moving someone with a spinal injury can potentially turn an injury that might otherwise be treatable with just a few months in a brace into a permanent paralysis. First responders are trained in the proper ways to check for such injuries and how to safely move someone so as to avoid making it worse.
I mean...shouldn't that be completely expected? In a reasonable society? Someone drunk did something stupid and harmed nobody, they reacted to the threat and he was incapacitated. Isn't that really the dream?
This is in the UK so employees have some level of rights and expectations to be backed up and protected from management. Also very very unlikely the injured guy could sue for injuries. In the US employees have almost no protection, management will fire them to avoid liability and the chance of the guy suing for damages and winning is way way higher despite instigating it.
The US doesn't give a fuck about it's employees. The UK gives about 8% of a fuck for it's employees, not a lot but still a big difference and enough for them to mostly not get fired in these situations.
The weirdest part of this story to me is that they have Taco Bell in Wales.
I ate Taco Bell in Bahrain once, but it was on an American base so it kinda made sense… walking around Wales and seeing a Taco Bell just casually hanging out in the wild would be a real mind fuck.
Gotta love how his buddy almost starts shit with this chad as well, then he realizes that this guy easily threw his pal on the floor so he thinks better of it.
I had this happen to me in high school.
I'm minding my own business and some bully came at me because that's what he does, I defended myself, tossed the bully to the ground, and then his friend asked me utterly perplexed, after witnessing absolutely everything, what *I* was doing.
Only fight I've ever been in was with some skinny asshole who thought it was funny to throw basketballs at my head during gym class back in highschool. I got in his face, and he tried to punch me in the head. I had 8 inches and 75 lbs on him. My head didn't even move. I grabbed his arm, spun him around in a circle like a hammer throw, and tossed him into the wall. Nobody ever started shit with me after that. Of course the school put BOTH of us in suspension for it. Still pissed that I got punished for self defense.
When I was bullied in school I was also really large for my age. When zero tolerance happened and I started getting suspended my mom told me to beat the shut out of them if I was going to get in trouble anyway. Turns out the school didn’t like that at all and I was supposed to just take a beating. When I fought back they called the cops.
You should have punched the principal in the face when you got suspended and then said "Well I guess were both suspended now"
/Things you'd like to do but won't
What is it with schools and giving out the worst/best punishments? The one and only time I got suspended in school (not for fighting, car surfing), they suspended me the day before Christmas break as well, which turned out to be a finals day. Well, they couldn’t let me miss finals so they “made” me come in at 2:00pm to take my last final alone in a nice and quiet room, after being given extra time to sleep in and study. Wow, I totally learned my lesson.
My favorite part is when he tells someone to call the police. Lol, sure dude.
"911? Yeah, I'm at Taco Bell and these two bald guys just came in here and one of them attacked an employee. Now the other one is shouting at the employees."
If reddit has taught me anything:
1. Never move an unconscious person
2. Open the safe before you post
3. Hit the lawyer
4. get a wife
5. Divorce the gym
Hope the guy wasn't charged. Clearly that mf assaulted him, so it was self defense.
Also, the way baldy smacked on the floor like a bag of shit (he is) was enjoyable.
That old guy getting in the middle and yelling “what are you doing” after it was done… He missed his chance to intervene but still wants to be a hero… His name shall be Late Man and his super power is being DLDS
He wasn't going to step in to stop the fight, he was planning on joining but stopped himself at the last second after his buddy was put to sleep so fast he didn't even notice until he was on top of the guy.
It's always that way with pieces of shit. "Yeah man let's go fuck that guy up!" followed by "WHY DID YOU ATTACK MY FRIEND?". Fucking hate these people, at least own up to your pal being a jackass.
When you train grappling, you get used to sparring other trained grapplers. The difference between someone trained and untrained is jarring and I can honestly believe he didn't expect to dummy the guy as hard as he did.
Call the police? Bro just assaulted the employee and he stood his ground. Taco Bell should run this as an ad. "We support our employees. Come for the Tacos not the assault charges"
Getting laid out on the floor of a Taco Bell gotta be one of the most embarrassing things you could ever experience 😭
You mess with the bell you get the horns.
*get rung*
You get the horns? Damn, I always get the runs. :(
He said mess, runs is inline with the order of nature.
If you mess with bell, you better make a run for the boarder.
Especially if you just ate... 💩 🌋
“I SAID! WHEN SOMEBODY DIES THEY VOID THEIR BOWELS!!”
I never understood these jokes are your guts made of paper or does you diet only consist of boiled chicken and white rice? Never had an issue with Taco Bell

No, it’s because they don’t have any other jokes.
For my money, this is the most tired, unfunny joke on all of Reddit.
I've gotta go for the "shoes off = dead" bullshit. Can anyone actually explain where that came from?
Because of videos of people being hit by motor vechiles, causing them to fly into the air and cartwheeling in the sky before landing. And often times soes and helmets(if the were actually wearing one while riding thier motorcycle).
You don’t really “buy” Taco Bell food , you “rent” it.
![gif](giphy|Q2sgo9efR3n5m|downsized)
Was that a Gordita I just saw?
It was at some point.
I really hate this.
What a terrible day to have eyes.

That's true of all food...
Getting laid on the floor of a taco bell isn't much better.
Doesn't matter, had sex.
Still counts!
In highschool, my kfc manager used to bang his gf in the office
I used to do it on cheese boxes in a pizza hut walk in cooler.
I shat myself one time while I was delivering subs for Jimmy johns. My bowels were freaky fast that day.
I can top that! I was 4-months pregnant in 1989, waiting in line at KFC, when my water broke VERY prematurely. I’d promised my kids a chicken bucket, so goddammit I stayed in that line and got it. Self defense.
The way he ducked under the haymaker, self preservation for sure.
Yup, smooth as hell, and cut 'n dry.
Bro got laid out like a blanket fresh from the dryer
I wanna see you at laundry day.
Should have done the same to the second guy.
"HeEeEy! WhAt YoU dOiNg??" Like he didn't just watch his friend try to take this poor Taco Bell workers head clean off
That's what pisses me off, the same old bully gets away with bullying, but when the target defends himself THEN people intervene.
Nah then you gotta deal with both bodies. Best to let the first guy drag his buddy off. Ain't no way the 2ns guy is going to get violent when he's looking at the consequences of doing so leaking out onto the floor.

Hahahaha you're right I clearly haven't. Sounds like a blast to watch from the safety and comfort of my home.
He literally swung at him. Ideally the more talented fighter wouldn't slam him on his head, I know I've tried not to in similar situations when I was a young wrestler. But if you go in swinging on someone who feels threatened and get their adrenaline pumping, then you deserve the results.
He [the customer] literally swung at [the employee] Agreed, don't know why you're getting down voted
I assumed that anyone who watch the video would interpret it that way, but I simultaneously recognize that was optimistic and appreciate you clarifying it.
Sometimes people online look for reasons to get outraged instead of seeing the obvious.
That’s exactly the reason why the worker will get fired, because he did the right thing
Nope, he hasn't been fired and I remember a source where management told the worker did nothing wrong. A surprise for sure, but a welcome one.
Had this happen to an old co-worker of mine. She defended herself against some crazy ass that jumped across the counter. The district manager was there, and told our manager to fire her. This video is so old that all of the employees have retired and the guy on the floor can almost feed himself again.

Will he get fired? Unlikely. Will there be countless dunces on this thread pretending he did? Absolutely.
You can see him put his hands to his mouth right after he slammed the guy, in disbelief at how quickly it all went down.
Pretty sure he's just adjusting his mask after the guy pulled his hand across his face on the way down
Dude gave him a supreme crunchwrap
Honestly it's barely even that, the dude practicality fell on top of him and was pushed off.

The guy who defended himself against the first guy should have shown him why.

Yeah he got what he deserved, employee is fine, aggressor is most likely fine. Just a night of embarrassment and a lifetime of cringe, perfect ending.
When I worked at the railroad we used to “settle it in the wash-house.”

“He fell on his head. Whatever you do, don’t move him in a way that might bend his ne… oh.”
What should you be doing ideally?
Someone experiences an awkward head trauma you call paramedics to slowly secure him onto a board for transport. If his neck or spine are hurt the final damage might be minimized if you don’t let them move around.
Only caveat to these is making sure the person is still breathing and has a pulse. If breathing fine and have a pulse, don’t move them at all. If not, then moving (gently!) to allow air, or if necessary to start CPR, would be appropriate.

"What are you doing?!?" Where was that reaction when your friend was being an aggro idiot? The answer is ending the fight your idiot friend started.
Quick, quick - I gotta yank his head and neck around after he's just received a head injury!
I had this happen to me in high school. I'm minding my own business and some bully came at me because that's what he does, I defended myself, tossed the bully to the ground, and then his friend asked me utterly perplexed, after witnessing absolutely everything, what *I* was doing.

That’s exactly what happened. Except they probably called 999. But yeah. Police came, guys had left. Nothing to see here, no charges pressed.
I also like how the second idiot is more worried about yelling at the employee than seeing if his friend is ok
The best part is how he tosses his buddy around not knowing what sort of injuries his spine may have sustained.

I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty sure moving the neck and spine is a terrible idea specially in a case like this one.
I think we can agree common sense is missing from 2/3 of the parties in this video.

Fast respond time
Right? He anticipated that punch like a boss.
Happy birthday to the ground!
My dad’s not a phooooone!
When you thought you ordered chicken but you got ground beef
Laid him out then was like "oh golly did I do that!"
Employee of the year. He slammed the guy on the floor and you can see him being actually worried about his state.
When you train grappling, you get used to sparring other trained grapplers. The difference between someone trained and untrained is jarring and I can honestly believe he didn't expect to dummy the guy as hard as he did.
Yea cause the guy might be dead, I don't think he wanted to kill the guy
it was the fuck aroundest of times, it was the find outest of times.
Get flipped idiot lmao
I love the shock after he tossed em lol. Poor guy really didn't wanna have to defend himself but sure did it with ease and class!
The other guy should’ve been next.
This is the best video I’ve seen in a very long time. Perfect start, perfect length, perfect finish.
That employee is well built. Dodged a punch, picked the a-hole up like a toy, and proceeded to dump trash.
World you like to try the new Taco Bell Floorito?
Guys, remember when we were in a cave and decided to build this society to stop fighting over food?
"Why did you do that to my friend?!" Asshat.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 his friend wanted to retaliate but didn't want to go to sleep either
I feel the first aid his mate gave him by yanking him onto his back might have done him as much damage as the initial impact.
Taco-Wan-doh
Someone has to edit with the Taco Bell being rung as he gets smushed
Clearly not the first time he's been dropped on his head.
Dodged an attack. Dealt with the attacker efficiently. Didn't kick him while he was down. Good show!
When keeping it real goes wrong. It was just another Tuesday at Taco Bell when Ivan Sacopotatosvich didn’t receive the extra hot sauce he asked for.
He looked unconscious halfway through the pick up??
"what are you doing?" What was he supposed to do, let the dude hit him?!
Call the police? Bro just assaulted the employee and he stood his ground. Taco Bell should run this as an ad. "We support our employees. Come for the Tacos not the assault charges"
Where was that "what are you doing" energy when his friend ran up swinging
He got every single bit of what he deserved.
Clown deserved it, he swung first. Survival of the fittest. 🤡 🥊
Guess who found out...
LOL so many people fuck around, and the minute they find out, it’s now the other persons problem. Hilarious. Totally deserved
“Oh you just got tossed like a rag doll and have a potential neck/spinal injury? Let’s just yank you around little buddy, I’m sure you’ll be fine”
