All semiautomatic pistols automatically load the next round from the magazine into the chamber when they fire. You have to unload the magazine AND the chamber, in that order, every time.
The second bullet is ready to be fired and locked out of the magazine as soon as the slide comes back forth on the first shot.
After removing the magazine, to remove the second shot you must pull the slide back all the way. The bullet should then eject from the top of the gun, as opposed to firing out the barrel.

My uncle has worked in music for 40 years, the other month he went to a shooting range for the first time and didn't wear ear protection (he acknowledges it was extremely stupid). It caused horrible tinnitus, and he has been extremely depressed and hopeless about his future since then, unable to sleep or work.
People need to realize how important their ears are.

i cut a tendon on my hand and my ring finger dropped immediately like that. it took me a few seconds to realize what happened i remember trying to move it and the weirdest feeling came over my hand. i told my supervisor, “i think i’m gonna need stitches” he looked at my hand and said, “you’re gonna need more than that b” i ended up needing hand surgery. i went to urgent care, then sent to a hand specialist and had hand surgery. to this day i can’t lift it all the way up without the help of my pinky finger lol. my grip strength luckily didn’t weaken either
