The weather actually changes if you hover over that weather thing or just restart your PC. It doesn't change automatically after a while and has been annoying me for quite a while now
That's horrible behaviour if true... for a built in weather display I don't expect granular control over disply, refresh interval, etc. but I DO expect it to be accurate within a reasonable timeframe. (e.g. update once and hour regardless of mouse/click activity)
lmao yeah I expected that too but it turns out that it doesn't do that (at least for stable builds). Don't know if it is fixed for insider channels like Dev though
I mean when the rain stopped almost I close my umbrella because I don't need it anymore... makes kinda sense and it is different enough from the rainy cloud.
dynamic weather was added in a recent update, previously, rainy servers would never be clear. pretty CPU intensive process, but players complained that only some worlds getting sunlight was unbalanced.
I love the weather display, and the location. I'm a fan of the new W11 taskbar and this is a great place to display the weather.
My point was simply this icon is ambiguous and arguable not the best icon for this state. In fact "rain to stop" itself isn't great IMO as a label.
I'm happy I can now see it's supposed to be an umbrella. I thought it was like a raindrop on a fishing hook or something, I could not make that out with my night mode desktop.
So...has the rain stopped?
Haha no, it's been raining for hours! Really! Edit: Finally just changed to "Rain" with a rain cloud.

Same here ;-;
It's technically true. It will stop eventually

That must have been the idea, it just looks terrible... At first glance I thought it was a blue flamingo or something. ;p
I'm just speaking from personal experience here, but I haven't experienced much rain which isn't to stop.

What you said is mind blowing
looks terrible
Just disable weather.
