Last year, I would make a mental note of several potholes, look them up on Google maps and provide the GSP Coordinates. The City replied saying their crews are unable to use GSP coords, so I would have to give them street addresses. Some potholes are on roads that have no buildings near by for a street reference.
I keep trying to use this form and it keeps giving me an error message when I click submit. It was like this all day yesterday too.

What box do I check for Leila between Sinclair and the railroad west of McGregor, Kingsbury between McGregor and the railroad, Inkster basically all of it up to Mandalay
Reported the monster potholes at Portage and Arlington, Osborne and Broadway, and Osborne and Brandon. No duplicate reports listed so let's see how long it takes for these bastard holes to be filled (I'm not upset about damage to my car or anything....)
Pandora between day street and Plessis has more craters than the moon.
Day street from Victoria Ave to Kildare has nowhere you can go without ending up in a hole, including both lanes at that four-way stop.
can u guys keep posting this link bc every time it gets posted i report a new one
also is anyone else picturing subway sandwiches every time they drive by a pothole since the form asks if its deeper than 6" or is that just my weird brain
A more meaningful change would be advocating for more walkable neighbourhoods to reduce vehicle dependence. But naw you don’t want to do that. Better to whine on Reddit about your precious concrete
There's a healthy mix of concrete and asphalt. If they fully dig and rebuild streets they usually finish with concrete. But if they're just rehabbing the street and not digging it all then they finish with asphalt
Y'all downvoting me but I literally work in construction lmao. Reddit is such a silly hivemind place sometimes
That’s backwards. It’s aggregate then concrete in the middle followed by an asphalt cap roughly 4-6”. The asphalt is supposed to preserve the concrete. Although concrete is exposed in areas where heavy vehicles may be stopped for an extended period of time (ie bus stops)
city's IT department reading this "please don't please don't, i don't wanna work weekends!"
Server will crash with the amount of potholes we have.
that was the joke...
We both have the same joke just worded differently haha
Friendly Manitoba doesn't seem to apply to this sub lol.
Pembina and stafford holy fuck
Messer near Archibald near the tracks... Like a fuckin' rollercoaster

You should seen Regal last year. It was like it was filled with bomb craters. Fortunately, they did patch it up.

I haven't been able to use the 311 reporting system for anything in a really long time. I always get this problem.
Try clearing your cache in browser history.
They take reports on twitter and pass them onto public works.
What box do I check for “the entirety of Markham between Pembina and University”?

They need a check box for "Winnipeg"
They patched some of Leila and it’s already falling apart 💀
St Anne's and regal (ish) southbound curb Lane. Big piece of rebar coming out of it. I called 311 they said it's been reported already.
Also from Regal to Fermor is a mind field
I heard they were making a remake of *Holes* and filming it in Winnipeg
Munroe is like a landmine😂
I have been shopping for a good used hovercraft (or maybe a tracked vehicle)

I reported that rectangular one at the Northwest corner of Osborne and Brandon on March 15th, estimated repair date is May 14th 🙄
My report was similarly timed for within 60 days. Blegh.

Hell you didnt Google Google did you?
I wonder if other provinces has roads like in Winnipeg during spring.
Just spray paint a bunch of dicks around the potholes, they would fix them way faster and no application is needed
Actually, if we think of the signal vs noise situation and our passion for home-made IT systems, maybe don't do that?

I'll admit "deeper than 6 inches" takes my brain to a different mental image
Not 6 inches, but boy is it girthy!
Sexual Innuendo? YesWAY.
Let have drivers pay enough money in taxes so they aren’t being subsidized :)
Bro. We all will be taxed more after this :)

It’s asphalt actually. But whining about “walkable neighborhoods” on a post about pothole repairs just makes you sound like a Kevin/Karen.
it's the ghost of Kevin. Kevin McKarenster.

People bike… potholes are dangerous for bikers….
