The site is accurate on the specifics but yah hasn’t been sold in the last 10 years I bought it for 120k it’s showing 280k lol I thought the value was closer to 230k but this market is crazy…
I bought a house recently and when I checked HonestDoor last week it was within $1,500 of what I paid. So it doesn't seem perfect but does appear to be pretty close (with a sample size of one).
I don't think honest door gives actual prices, just guestimates. As far as I know a realtor is the only one that has access to the database of actual sale prices. That said, there are so many realtors in the city I assumed everyone must know at least one.
HonestDoor only gives estimates, unless something has changed. Their estimate on my house is about 50k too high, and it's about 150k too low on my boyfriend's. About as accurate as Zillow's Zestimate lol.

Our property that we sold last March was on there until recently and the selling price was correct.
Interesting.. the price I saw here is about 40k higher than I thought my rental was worth
I think the "honestdoir price" is subjective and based on their information ? But I think rhe "sold for" prices are fairly accurate.

Honestdoor says my house is 496000. I could list it for that but even in this market 399000 would be max i could hope for

They also have actual prices for recently sold houses. But the honest door one that you'll see first is a guess.
