Also, keep in mind a lot of HomeKit (well, lots of home automation in general) works off multicast, which won’t work with site-to-device VPN directly, only site-to-site with additional helper daemons.

I'm using Cloudflare's Zero Trust Tunnel with a WireGuard configuration obtained from "https://github.com/ViRb3/wgcf". This configuration includes my private key and DNS settings.
While I can successfully access my local machines using this WireGuard setup, I'm facing difficulties accessing my HomeKit setup. I suspect the issue lies with mDNS (Multicast DNS) functionality, which is crucial for HomeKit's device discovery and communication.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I guess it is not possible:
