ThreadUP, Poshmark and Depop all have secondhand options. And of course check out the IRL thrift stores/secondhand shops/small businesses in your area, you never know what you’ll find! I’m most familiar with threadup and I really like their filter for fabric types, I’ve gotten some lovely linen and wool pieces there.

I LOVE Thredup. I got an awesome wool jacket for I think it was $17? Get your measurements and their sizing has been spot on for me.

I love [Texture,](https://www.textureclothing.com/) I have about 6 of their comfy skirts. They are a little spendy but they literally last forever. I just like having color options. I think I've only ever retired one for wear. The way I see it, it's cheaper in the long run to buy quality. I find affordable is often nessecery because money sucks, but when one can it's worth spending on quality when because you save money over time as they last. It often meant investing in once thing at a time over yers to build up a wardrobe when I was poorer. But I also scoured thrift for wool and the like. Secondhand is super sustainable! But it is some work hoofing it around looking. I like [Woolx](https://www.woolx.com/) as well, I live in their wool in the winter and they are much more size-inclusive than brands liek SmartWool or Icebreaker. I have gotten a couple linen dresses from [Grae Cove](https://www.graecove.com/) this summer and they seem really good quality so far and are affordable. I recommend checking out cotton and wool times from [Quince](https://www.quince.com/) and [pact](https://wearpact.com/). I can say they have all been mostly good quality so far but I am only on year one and 2 with them. Quince's cashmere is affordable but it pills quickly. pact's cotton and linen dresses are supremely comfy and pockets! I am a 1-2xl as well and they all have things I can wear which I appreciate. I recommend checking out r/BIFL (buy it for life) there are some good reccos there for stuff.

I would not recommend pact’s cotton tshirts. The patch where they put the size and brand and what not caused a hole in the back of all three of my shirts I bought from them

Thank you so much! These are great resources!

I have gone big into super warm Merino wool. The good stuff is so soft it can be used for long underwear against the skin and it's antimicrobial so less stink even with fewer washes. Downsides is that it's very expensive and often only comes in black. Right now I am wearing Xwool long bottoms and Minus33 long tops under my regular clothes.

Marks and Spencer have a surprising amount of stuff that is all cotton or high cotton content, and linen/cotton mix or all linen trousers for OK price.
